I game over to Path of Exiles from Diablo 3 where a guildie introduced the game to me. I fell deep into the game path, leveling aquiring items and soon leveled to 90 and soon needed better gear.
I played a lot, I had leved my Masters to levels 7-8, started a guild and wanted to help others. And as I invited others into the guild I was introduced to better leveling techniques and game knowledge.
I had a good weapon I bought and other gears but after I bought Atziri's Acuity Vaal Gauntlets for 150ex my guildmate introduced me to the idea of item duping and suggested we could get rich and powerful.
I used bad judgement and agreed to do it since he had most all his gear were mirrored items and was the player I was striving to be like legitmatley.
But in the end I lost my gloves, lost myself honesty and wholesome gaming core values and felt real guilty when players, who were coming into the game and asking for help.
Also another player I knew and farmed sacrifce frags all day just quit becasue he felt he could never get to the end game with items he needed as a legitimatle player.

On 1/2/2015 I lent [Removed by Support] with his trading partner [Removed by support] in order to dupe my Atziri's Acuity Vaal Gauntlets , worth about 150-160 ex fair trading value, the item and sell them for profit in the forums and trading sites.
They also ran a scam for FREE normal and Uber Atziri through my guild, though at the time I thought it was legit. I am sorry for my involment in this and hope we all pay the price for cheating.
All of this was way over my head and I did not want to be a front for these guys so I am quitting the game in shame for my part.

I can only take action against myself and remove myself from the game. The other two will continue but it's for you and them to take action, sorry.

This player recruited me, he's italian so I was trusting at first but he lured me into his schemes, through my greed and drive to have better gear and succeede.

Now they use the Noticeboard for getting clients and use 3rd party voip to type in so to avoid writing in the game chat.
They then sell the items for ingame gold and I was told then to real money gold site to sell the gold back into the game or items for real money.
That is how I believe some players have so many uber mirrored items in the game, which may, as it happened to me, corrupt the game in so many ways.
It was way over my head and I did not want to be a front for these guys.

Does selling someone a Geofri's Baptism for an Eternal Orb qualify as a scam or a legitimate trade? Considering the guy willfully puts in the item, and gets exactly what I told him he was going to get. IMO that is just a premium mark up. I originally asked for a chaos orb, dude says he doesn't have one, but! He says he has an eternal orb, I'm like eh (make it look like I wasn't excited) sure, I guess that is fine.

Please keep on posting in this thread. The saltiness is delicious. Especially the bickering over morality and the name-calling (which are really just negative/positive connotations as opposed to any real objective label, in the vein of 'terrorists or freedom fighters').

This is exactly what arguments should be like. All the arguments I usually read are totally devoid of fallacious examples and improper logical forms, not to mention ad hominem. But this is a prime example of internet argument, with pretentious mudslinging so thick you could cut it with a knife. I must collect additional specimens for entertainment purposes.

Lastly, if any of you other audience members want a humorous experience, try imagining people with a minimum of double-digits in their age count doing the name-calling, since such behavior would normally be reserved for very small children.

I know people who play fair. Who tell the newbie that this thing is valuable, that he can get much more for it. Your deeds showing what person you are. And you are the person I'd like not met
