checked TOS for scamming

Shag, all of your arguments are terrible. With the responses Fade has given at this point, I'm like 'make it stop... make it stop'. It's kind of cringeworthy.

Glad I stopped arguing on these forums a while ago. So sad to see the lengths people will go to in order to be right, rather than just admit they are wrong.

GGG doesn't punish scams, it's true. You can run lotteries and walk away without paying out. Take items for crafting and keep them. And you won't get punished. At the same time though, you will never earn a positive reputation.

The sad thing is - in PoE you CAN earn a positive reputation, despite doing everything you say. Because lying, scamming and deceiving is all right, cool and the right thing to do - apparently.

There's your problem. Who are you to say what is right?

Morality is irrelevant in the presence of wits, and scamming is an expression of wits.

No one said that. Where do you get this from? Its one thing not siding with a victim who is partially to blame and another to say bad things are the right thing to do.

if i see you in a bar get hammered and i dont tell you not to drive, am i also saying that its ok to drive drunk?

Dont do selective reading dear, its not good.

Either you tell everyone that you think lying, deceiving and scammin other human beings for your own gain is OK (and the "right" thing to do), or you stop arguing for the sake of trolling.

I do not feel the need of telling a grown man that lying, deceiving and scamming is bad. If you do not know this, you are probably a criminal in real life. Or soon-to-be.

Dear? Please, take your suppression techniques else where.

There. It's OK? Yes, of course. Is it right? No. Neither is it wrong, it just is.

Bad? Sir, I don't need to tell you not everybody cares about moral. As long as it is allowed, there's no clause to complain about it.

I play EvE and POE and love both. i don't think any imagined or real scamming issues can stack up to EvE. Both there and here in POE its easy to not get taken for a ride. It all comes down to how naive you might be or blindly trusting.

I'd almost like to say put your purse down but that is something an EvE player would say.

Why do you keep reading comments from people you clearly disagree with anyways? You gotta realize at some point you are talking to a wall because nothing will change these peoples minds and you already know youre right, or at least you think you do. I think youre half right but oh well.

Dont get hung up on words, k, i always talk like that. ;)

Youre like a deer in my headlights.

is this ^ better? :P

Spoiler
BTW, what are suppression techniques?

Oh dear, how cute of you :)

I don't debate for the sake of changing someones mind. I respect that people disagree with me. I debate to learn, to understand and to maybe see things from several angels.

But people that have no moral, lying to deceive others for their own gains and keep on scamming people? I will never understand people like that, value or no value. Nor will I understand people defending behavior like that.

When it comes to suppression techniques, I think you know very well what that is. It seems pretty built in in the way you are writing.
