Is 350 jewelers to vorici [6s] worth it?

I thought what the hell, GGG says that prices is just too high and just for lazy bones who dont want to use jews with right click, so I decided I 6 socket it myself then, used about 500 scraps for 20 quality and more than 400 jews, no 6 socket... Next time Ill use Vorici..

i must have been lucky. I 6S a weapon within 10-20 last night.

odds are like 250:1 which means you roll a 250 sided die each jewel you apply to item and only one side of die has 6S while there are tones of 1S, 2S, etc sides. yeah you got lucky

I burned 700 before I got mine to 6S which is unlucky. Perfect luck is 250 or so.

I did not know it was that hard to roll a 6S, or I would not have risked it.

I spent 40 jewellers to 6S it, and 20 fusings to 5L it.

Cost me 5C as a 1S.

Spent all my currency. Just made it :)

The only time I would ever use Vorici bench for expensive crafts is when the item I want with say, 6L, is not available on the market, it's always cheaper to buy from someone else unless the seller is a moron who doesn't know to compare to Vorici's prices.

Whenever I tell myself that Vorici is a rip off. I remember the time I used 45 fusings to get a 4L and I go back to Vorici for everything.

On a slightly more helpful note, can anyone confirm that armorer scraps help better the odds?

I spent 6 armorer scraps between every jeweller/fusing. In my mind that was the trick. But I don`t have anything like the numbers to support my guess.

When Chris posted odds he never mentioned it.
