Is 350 jewelers to vorici [6s] worth it?

If it's an item that I really, really, really want to use because it has excellent stats on it and I want a no frills, no risk time, then I'll certainly use it. Considering how easy it is to get Jeweller Orbs, the extra cost for the guaranteed result is worth it when used sparingly.

Well no It's just for a future craft lol

Thanks for the replies everyone btw ~

I hope they never increase any cost on the masters because they work so well atm for self found little/no trade players.
350 Jewelers is cheap, honestly. You can farm that out if you REALLY try in a few days.

1500 Fusings on the other hand.... is the item actually WORTH 40ex worth of fuses? Is it cheaper just to trade those to get a better item for less?

Well it really depends on how much Jewelers you have. If you have many do it manually, since you likely will 6s other items to and it will average out way below 350.

For 1500 it is a bit different. From my experience the average to 6l with fuses isn't as far away from the fixed price as it is to 6s with jewelers compared to crafting. The average for jewelers seems to be more towards half of the fixed price, while that doesn't seem to be the case for the 6l.

Just before FM launched I bought one Lorica, three Bellies and dropped Volls and I 6s all items with below 100 Juwelers. Although this is incredible lucky (and my Lyoneyes took about 400 Juwelers), I knew a few people with such luck and people here seem to have although not that good but similar experiences which means that the chance can't be that low.

But in general the master-craft has two major advantages:

1. It is a fixed price
2. You don't have to click 1000 fusings manually.

This might help you decide.
On the other hand, I am just about to save up enough jewelers and fusings to 6S, 5L my carcass using Vorici.

Lightning Coil - 151 jewelers 6S - 258 fusings 5L (accidentaly rolled over 5L at 157)
Lioneye's Glare - 284 jewelers 6S - 183 fusings 5L
Voll's Protector - 41 jewelers 6S - 3 fusings so far

Just gonna throw this out there, two days ago I 5S 5L a Carcass Jack pretty much on a whim. Had it drop and had a few jew/fuses laying around threw a couple (No more than 10) on it for a 5 socket, and then 5 fusings later had a 5 link.

Spoiler

RNG is RNG, there may be an average but that's just it an average. Ask yourself if you like gambling, if you do then go the old fashioned way, if not use the master's bench. It's really up to each individual player to decided whether or not it's worth it. In my own experience no its not.
alright I got it took I believe less then 350 I'm honestly not sure but it wasn't much.

Where the hell are you getting these 40ex from ??

Rampage today: 1ex:40c:70-80fuses

20ex an average to make a 6L. Commonly used uniques like CoD, Belly, Carcass are going for 15 to 20ex for 6L on the trade.

Guess there is to many Wallwarts on Std, they wont let the economy change. Went to see how Std is doing. First line in trade: Selling regrets 8:1ex , 10gcp:1ex, etc...

STD BE STDING

It is a stupid question really unless you plan to flip 6-linked gear.

The only reason you would want to 6S is to get 6-link and if you are getting 6-link then 350 jewels more or less is little in comparison to the total cost.
