Is 350 jewelers to vorici [6s] worth it?

You know sometimes I have bad luck with RNG or sometimes it blesses me like a boss but honestly I'm not feeling it any thoughts?

I've been keeping a log about my linking before I left standard for a new league.
This might help you decide.
On the other hand, I am just about to save up enough jewelers and fusings to 6S, 5L my carcass using Vorici.

Lightning Coil - 151 jewelers 6S - 258 fusings 5L (accidentaly rolled over 5L at 157)
Lioneye's Glare - 284 jewelers 6S - 183 fusings 5L
Voll's Protector - 41 jewelers 6S - 3 fusings so far

I'll be using it unless I accidentally 6socket trying to 4socket something. The horror stories of 600-800+ jewelers and no 6sockets are real.

I don't think the 6s craft is worth it, a 6s usually takes 100-150, the most I've ever dealt with was just shy of 300 on a Voll's.

Said Voll's has eaten nearly 300 fuse and will likely get Vorici'd to a 5l however.
Other than Voll's I 5l'd a Quill in 200ish, an Infernal Mantle in 160, and got nothing after 120 fuses on a Lightning Coil. While that 6s price is rather high, that 5L cost looks really nice.

Took me around 500 Jeweler's before, so I'd probably use Vorici. Not entirely sure, though. For linking, I would definitely use him.

In the long run, no. In the short run, possibly. It really depends more on how many Jewelers you have and how much you 'need' the 6S. The real question is, Is it cheaper to "at least 5S it" over and over, or use the guarenteed 6s. They wont give us the numbers to help us decide. If you can settle on 5S, I'd run the 5S chance a few times.

yes its worth it and the lottery payouts in beyond of 1 exalt for a 6s is a joke same with 12ex lottery payouts for 6l

1500 for 6l if you dont believe me just watch all those lotterys on twich add up the fuses and take the average some guy hit 5k fuses some do it in 120 are you really prepared to spend 5k ?

all we know for sure is that the craft costs for sockets and links are higher than the random averages.

If it's an item that I really, really, really want to use because it has excellent stats on it and I want a no frills, no risk time, then I'll certainly use it. Considering how easy it is to get Jeweller Orbs, the extra cost for the guaranteed result is worth it when used sparingly.

I'd say it isn't worth it. In my experience, out of maybe 15 items that I've 6 socketed (or possibly more), only one of them has taken 350 jeweler's. I've had many of them hit 6-socket in under 150, and more still under 200.

I also can't believe anyone would ever spend 1500 fusing to 6-link an item. That's like 40ex in normal exchange rates. 40ex! The only time you could convince me it's a good idea is on an absurdly expensive item, either a mirror-worthy chest or something like a legacy shav's. Otherwise, you'd be better off buying a 6-link with awesome stats for far less than 40ex.
