Well, the loss is not a big deal (I kinda expected it to happen). But really, I have 6S'd + 5L'd well over 20+ items and when I heard about the 350 jeweller, I thought it is way too little. Same about the 150 for 5L.

700-800 jews for 6S isn't that uncommon.

i do not know what is the 'real' expected value, but i have my fair share of socketing and linking and for people that attempt it like 10-20 times per their entire playtime it is TOTALLY worth it

you might get lucky from time to time (like i did with my Pledge of hands - bought it for peanuts, 6s for 20jews and 5linked with 9..) sadly i 5Linked my Karui Chopper after spending more than 1000jews to 6s and failing.. i 5Linked it as 5socket out of desperation

so for me - hello Vorici! take my jewelers:

Twice now i tried to be a wise-ass and not ask Vorici for help. I dumped 400 jewelers into my Carcass Jack just today.
Guildmate heard that told me to give it to him and had it in 15.

I'm unlucky with socketing and linking everything above 4. From now on it's Vorici or nothing, because i'm usually on the far end of the other spectrum of all the lucky fuckers.

4 links usually take me ~2 jewelers and fusing each, so at least there i'm a little bit ahead of the curve. I take what i get, i guess.
