Good point as always, buy instead of craft, but what happens when you get that end game item to drop that you must keep, do you spend 1000 jewelers to 6 socket, and 6000 fusings to 6 link? I know they are known i just copied them from reddit where a ggg representative posted them. Khisanth kindly provided the links. Are you sure you can't get the same number of sockets twice? I can almost swear i have got 1 socket twice in a row on several occassions. Not going to use the recipe for either the sockets or the links. Not my bag at all! I've been lucky and unlucky in the past but why would I want to take away the possibility of feeling 'elated' by being lucky, all for the risk or feeling unlucky. No thanks. As stated already, if you are planning for a 5L, don't 6S it if you don't have a ton of currency. You can get a 5S easily, then just have Vorici link it. This is the way to go for a 5L if you are afraid of the RNG. I decided to do it old fashion and got lucky, but that is of course not the norm. RNG can be brutal. If you have the currency, just get a guaranteed 5L.
