Is 350 jewelers to vorici [6s] worth it?

I have rolled 6 sockets under 50 jews about 4 times.
Now 6 link...dont get me started on that one.

Rolled this last night after posting in this thread - took me 10 jewellers.

I've 5 socketed a bunch of stuff easy but I don't think I ever hit 6 by accident yet. Last 6 socket I did myself took about 600 jewelers so when I decided to do my 2h axe the other day I just put it in the bench and hit it. Was so damn easy that way.

But my socket and linking luck is pretty horrible. I have a 6S Daresso's Defiance on standard that I keep re- 5linking in hopes of hitting my first 6. Has been 5 linked 6 times now but is currently not because I stopped at 350 fuses spent trying for that next big linkup. Screw that, I'll just buy one!

Eh, from personal experience, it's not really worth. I usually end up getting a 6S after ~200. On talisman, 350 jewelers is only about 50c if you trade 7jews:1c. Not really expensive if you really want to use Vorici
You make my ochinchin go doki doki.

With the chance of getting 6 sockets at 0.33%, gambling will at best produce a long term average cost of around 340 Jewelers per item, only 10 less than the 350 crafting cost. For most casual crafters, the potential savings isn't worth the time wasted on gambling. But for those who enjoy the thrill of gambling, there is a stop-loss strategy you can follow that will limit your long-term average cost to no more than 350 Jewelers per item.

The key concept is that there is an optimal number of gambling rolls you should not exceed before giving up and paying 350 for the craft. At these odds, 88 is the maximum number of attempts you should make to 6S each item, and you will succeed with about 25% of your items. It will then cost (350+88) Jewelers for each of the 75% failures, and at most 88 Jewelers for each of the 25% successes, for an average of 350 Jewelers per item. However, since the average cost of each of the 25% successes would be just 44 Jewelers , your long term average cost would decrease to about 340 Jewelers per item.

personally i dont vorici for soxing or linking (unless the items are cor.), only for colouring depending on the base and how many offcolours i want.
my avg. 6 socking is below the 350jeweller cost and my 6L avg is far below the 1500 fusing, maybe thats why i never use vorici, also if i farm up those fusings or trade them i get itchy and mostly use them and hit 6L before i've collected all 1500 fusing to use him.

I always use vorici because I hate randomness. I've never been particularly lucky.

That's not just your average, it is the average which is lower. And even much lower if you have the whetstones/scraps to spend. But for colouring it's not the case, so Vorici is essential there.
The only question is: can you deal with the variance?
If you have hundreds of items you want to 6S/6L and the currency to do so, doing it by hand is almost surely better.
If you only have one item and just enough currency, it is not unlikely that it will miss, so Vorici is better if you don't want to risk it.

Also, luck doesn't exist.

Sort of. I've gone way over 350 and nadda. But I've consistently 6-socketed way unde too. I don't though. I feel it's boring lol. I think 25-285 chromes are the only thing worth it, specifically for gear that doesn't like rolling outside its color class (like getting 4 greens on my voidbringer :p ). The fuses are nuts. 1500 for a six link. Like no way. So not worth it.

I've never once 6s'd anything in my PoE life. Granted, I am not the most active socketer, but it's still HUNDREDS of wasted jews. If I ever really want to 6s something ever again, I'm going Vorici.

18 jews, 2 fuyses, ive never touched vorici in talisman league, so short answer, lolno nothing from vorici is worth it.
