1.3 The Community's Molten Strike, Face Melting Build!! 1h+shield and 2h variants available

Good job on the fight resilent, one thing is that cwdt and spell echo dont work together that being said it doesnt hurt either. I was gonna run atziri again when i got to 90 (tired of dying and being reset) and change an aura to purity of fire but i hadnt thought about purity of lightning for the vaal constructs, good idea.
Great build there, though i decided to modify it a bit. Made two different skilltrees for maxblock Molten Strike AoF build (with Doriani's Catalyst, probably) Now i'm strugling between two options:

Maradeur:
https://www.poebuilder.com/character/AAAAAgEAxthQUFhjXz-iDy7_8wbkUfuqoLS8n-8OJy_jn6Ss8i88LXfjrj5nm1OlDF8cp8auNZLYvf4Ktz5KyG6qtfKkOdCBR-Ii4hUgKk0_JxR1Vvr8xd0NLOmkwk2SI_ajiu4OG61I7j3it9PXy0xgBLGVZl_K6dUM914ffNlyqayqJ-3E9ocZbBb8S6-NZp7AGlnzGjinhJBVUWBPfYBWfuL60uNqNumplUp9h3ZnoBnpy0PewQ4UAnEEszKJV-LsOHfl8B-iALT5pldN4_6POuHyRY19nsUhNGDEtC9R5g==

(Has higher life, life regeneration, flask life regeneration, resistances, also can get quite high int to wear Rattlpinth Globe for spellblock cap)

Duelist:
https://www.poebuilder.com/character/AAAAAgQAFFJHfr2BmSuE2WVNU99Y25uDrK_DhueRwA_STb6nbmkppU4qtkFqk9XthO-kwhR1W69NkiP2o4ruDlb6PeK309fLlWYEsUxgG61I7nrvdO0FLWBL7tkGOXnAGlVhIdwdMn46UjboZKOfyw48FHF82XKp9zLqGPjrhxlsFvxLJ-2sqq-NZp7AGlnzGjinhJBVGenLQw4U3sH60lFgT32AVn7i42o26aQ50IFH4iLiFSAs6d0N_MVKfYd2Z6CRzrvtEuEyiVfi7DgCcQSzogC0-fAfd-UYkVBHFCCnMA==

(Has higher AS, +2 endurance charges, Unwavering Stance, Iron Reflexes, Iron Grip, +2 melee range, no MS penalty from armour)

I wanted to ask those, who used maxblock builds a lot - do i really need all those "unique" benefits from Duelist, or Maradeur's "raw power" will be better?

Great build to do it. Keep your HP High and your resists capped, get yourself a Geoffri's Baptism at 27, 4 Link it and it will carry you to the 50's.

All preference really.. I am about raw power but you could even move some points around to get some of the duelist notables. I probably would only bother with the no movement penalty node.

Ok, thank you, so i'll continue with Maradeur.

I also doubt a bit about mana management with AoF (because no leech) - maybe, i should get Revelry cluster?

And another question to OP - why Forces of Nature cluster is picked, and the much stronger cluster - Bone Breaker - is skipped? Also i see a few other poor choices there.
With several changes, i managed to squeeze an extra +58% increased damage, +3% attack speed and some extra life from skilltree for the same amount of points spent (107):

I hope that helps... Because poorly optimized build is the worst thing you need.

Hi guys, being unwilling to read all 100+ pages, could i please get the most up to date tree link for doryani catalyst /rathpith globe shield model of this build.

Also a list of the auras being run.

Thanks in advance from a retired Marauder

I would used a build like this -
https://www.poebuilder.com/character/AAAAAgEAxthQUFhjXz-iDy7_8wbkUfuqoLS8n-8OJy_jn6Ss8i88LXfjrj5nm1OlDF8cp8auNZLYvf4Ktz5KyG6qtfKkOdCBR-Ii4hUgKk0_JxR1Vvr8xd0NLOmkwk2SI_ajiu4OG61I7j3it9PXy0xgBLGVZl_K6dUM914ffNlyqayqJ-3E9ocZbBb8S6-NZp7AGlnzGjinhJBVUWBPfYBWfuL60uNqNumplUp9h3ZnoBnpy0PewQ4UjX2exSE0YMS0L1HmHt9PVrM_vryC5JARiq_iLAkz0TZN4_6PxBWQCg==

45% block (no need for TS even), 100 int from passives (rest should be acquired from gear, stone of Lazwar for example - with it you will cap spell block).
I'm considering this build myself, though i am not sure, if spellblock worth those 10 points spend on block and 2 points spent on int (after all, that shield gives useless ES)

What i really don't get is why Melee Physical Damage and Born to fight are picked for 35% Melee Physical and 20 str, and Strong Arm is skipped, when that one gives 30% one handed physical damage and 20 str, and as such is MUCH STRONGER for the equal numbers of point.

because we want as much block as possible and any added damage is only a bonus with this build. so no, it is not much stronger. It is simply a difference in preference.

there is no 'preference' about it.

It's the same block, it's the same amount of points, and it nets you 30% more damage for your projectiles.

There is no 'preference' in flat out inferior nodes.
