poe.xyz.is = The "auction house" that everyone thought we didn't need?

With drop rates as low as they are

now why do you think drop rates are so low?

do you think it has anything to do with trading?

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

It probably does, but it shouldn't. Drop rates should be based around self-found play, not around the fact that we're able to trade. Not everybody is into trading.

Trading is fine, if you add an easier way to trade mid tier uniques that r worht 1exa will be 1c fast, and GG gear thats for 40 exa will be 200... People r so fucking stupid, GGG trade is fine, please dont change it.
If people have automated xyz it's news to me.

xyz is not an AH, it is a trade hub site; it's not a dumping ground for shit, people aren't going to waste their energy buying or selling total junk

my trunk is filled with junk!

And yes, it's all on Xyz muhahahahahahaha!
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
I would have quit this game long ago had I not found poe.xyz

Hitting that A3 Cruel wall is not fun watching hours of gameplay wasted with each 5% (previously what 7.5%) EXP loss on death. Existing trade chat is beyond worthless. It's poe.xyz for me or gtfo.

I had a post previously about how poe.xyz is great for bring the buyers to the sellers but that what is really needed to complement this is bringing the sellers to the buyers...something like:
http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/786216

But on topic, what poe.xyz brings SHOULD be available in game and not just as an external site. Also I'm not troubled by b/o's but after reading this thread I do see the danger of automating b/o transactions. For me when I use poe.xyz I look at b/o as a suggested retail price. I never actually pay that price unless I absolutely got to have said item immediately.
yeah it's funny that mentioning auction house is like swearing in the church while the majority of the players are using a third party indexer instead.

I'm not saying GGG should implement an auction house, I'm saying crafting is too weak.

poe.xyz.is is not an auction house.

You can't instantly buy or sell stuffs.

Most of the time you PM someone and he's offline.

Someone wanna buy your stuff and you're offline.

Trading is still RNG!?, LOLOMFGWTF!?

Too much randomness that it pains my kidney.

Trade chat is just a flooding channel, it's a lie.[most of the time]

Trading now is fine? Nope, not for me and my friends.

Yes, auction house is a good idea and a good way to not wasting time PMing offline players.

Talking about self-found gear, just no. This is online game, trading is a part of it.

Sorry for my bad English.

how about "drop rates should be based around trading, not around the fact that we're able to selffound. Not everybody is into selffound"?

I would like sometimes when something good drop, it's actually worth something in trade.

how about "drop rates should be based around guaranteed drops, not around the fact that we're unable to find the items ourselves. Not everybody is into not finding items"?

I would like sometimes when something good drop, it's actually worth something in trade that is like guaranteed drops.

=P
