deleted thread - a clarification
" Obviously not in such a clear fashion that people understand it since people seem to believe there is still a chance for it to happen. |

" It was pretty clear... I will mention examples. - On many occasions they have stated that they will never create leagues that are easier than standard. This includes increased droprates. - They were more specific in a recent interview with Athene where they were asked about SFL a lot(like he mentioned it 5 times in the interview). They said they never plan to make a league where you can't trade and repeated that no increased drop league will be made. It really doesn't matter how many times GGG repeats these. 90% of things people bring up already have official responses. |

" Maybe thats the problem right there, they do it in Athene interviews and interviews in computergame magazines instead of using their own webpage. They could have a post on the frontpage where they thoroughly once and for all pick each topic and give the answer to what and why will never happen. |

I think it was a good call removing it , posts like that help noone and only ruin the community and give cause for more hate.
I was getting tired of posts like that coming up several times a week just from a certain few individuals, more removing of threads please. |

" Well that was specifically linked here and had a 15+ page topic.. There has been forum responses and even forum Q and As with similiar answers. I just don't think communication is an issue. GGG is very open. Last edited by kasub#2910 on Feb 20, 2014, 4:42:37 AM

It's because of the reasons that the threads carry on, I think.
Don't get me wrong, SFL isn't the answer, for many valid reasons. None of which GGG have stated, though. Their reasons just don't make sense. Let me take one, although I could talk about them all. "they will never create leagues that are easier than standard. This includes increased droprates." Analogy time. Scenario 1. There is a field of potatoes. One potato has your name on it, every potato has a name on it. Your goal is to have a potato with your name on, in your hand. Next to the field is a kiosk. You can take any potato/number of potatoes, with other names on it/them and swap for a potato with your name on. Scenario 2. There is a field of potatoes. Ten potatoes have your name on them. There is no kiosk and you cannot swap any other potato to get one with your name. Is scenario 2 really easier than scenario 1? Really? Casually casual. " An understandably difficult position to be in and one that should engender sympathy from the non-moderating community, no doubt. That said, if you're going to err on one side, err on the side of being lax. No one (well, parctically no one) is going to make the decision to not play the game on the basis of a forum rant. Let the game stand up for itself. It's a very good, heck borderline great, game even with the issues that need to be worked upon. There's plenty of mayhem and fun to be had and no criticism changes that. On top of that, there are plenty in the community who will defend the game and the devs (including myself) if criticism is unfair or unwarranted. Let ignorance be subjected to the ridicule it deserves. Much better than sweeping it under the rug or, worse yet, having your community guessing as to what's going to be deleted and what isn't. zombiedismembermentfuckyeah!

@Anuhart For someone who doesn't trade, it definitely is easier. Outside that they're firmly against the game not having trading. It's more about the logic that it would taint the game experience even if some players think otherwise...
All that is getting a bit off topic though. The point is that GGG does communicate and give responses to common complaints. People can't use that excuse when making flamebaiting topics acting like it's unaddressed. Last edited by kasub#2910 on Feb 20, 2014, 4:54:40 AM

but I couldn't resist
Was domination not easier than standard? I mean, desync pots? Double up Iron Reflexes pots? What about the uniques that only drop in Domination?
Shrines? They are to offset this and make it harder? But didn't we just dismiss the global difficulty and cut it down to a single element of someone who doesn't trade in regular standard? And even then... Well how about someone who never goes near shrines? What about someone with mad prone desync build, IR and who avoids shrines? Know what I'm saying? Wasn't there a rare mod that dropped a guaranteed unique in Nenesis, when we are discounting the difficulty globally, in that regard, Nemesis was easier than HC, no? Casually casual.
