Likely the same reason the official d3 forums are STILL swarmed with people who do nothing but spout rubbish and hate on everything.

I like both games for different reasons, and play both depending on what I want to do at the moment. Seems like many people these days believe you can only ever play/like 1 game at a time, and all other games are trash?

Thats not much of an "end game". Its still running the same content ad nauseum until you hit paragon 100. And even when you hit max level you get what do you have to show for it? Some main stats and some magic find to hunt for horribly itemized gear? Personally i am not impressed. At least in poe there are RANDOM maps to farm which adds variety instead of running the same areas over and over and theres other leagues to try out if you want.

Because he's Path of Exile's biggest fan. Plays it more than anyone, knows it inside out, comments on the forums regularly = no life, no friends, at home on mummy's computer, cries when game doesn't go his way.

jesus... the desyncs aren't that seriously bad, there are often signs you need to be vary off, sure i lost my own lvl 71 to a leap slam desync instant kill by merciless vaal. but i knew that skill could desync yet i somehow thought i could pull through it, almost did too, 10-15% hp left on that sucker.

This game is playable to a full extent, you just need to be extremely quick on noticing when something's off, then log off, shame there are mobs in the game that can 1 hit you. xD

D3 is more unplayable for any HC player with a serious more number of cheap deaths else just being retarded easy snooze fest.

Path of Exile is the heir of D2, D3 is the disgrace of Blizzard, the sign of their reign ending.

i salute GGG for their hard work and hope to see their dream aRPG in all it's glory, hardcore, challenging, addicting, hilarious, exciting, and fun.

D3 was fun at first but didnt take long to spot its flaws. farming act i inferno over and over for that much needed gear that NEVER dropped. imo D3 was a big scam. inferno wall was made on purpose to try and force player into using the RMAH so blizz gets a cut and make more money out of it. not to mention the authenticators scam. a friend got his account "hacked" and blizzard support wouldnt help him out unless he bought an authenticator

for many reasons

the only things i dislike about path of exile:

the currency. its pretty unique and clever what they have done but i love my shiny gold and would have prefered a crafting vendor which sells the orbs and stuff for upgrading your gear

no NZ servers. i live in auckland. 200 ping isnt too bad for this type of game. melee feels a bit awkard though. i would gladly pay a subscription to help fund an NZ or aussie server

and thats it. anything else i can think of is already being worked on
