This threads remind of D3 ones where people with 400 hours played complained about how the game wasnt worth 60$,you think everyone who plays WoW for example have played for 8 years without breaks? games last as much as you enjoy playing them, and when you dont just play something else.

When a game is designed by "hardcore" players, the game becomes unrewarding for the casual player. And there's nothing worse (in an ARPG world) than an unrewarding aRPG game.

If this model is their goal, only niche players remain. That may be something they want.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
Players lose their passion for PoE? I think you meant D3. I quit D3 after less than a month.
It's been nearly a year, still going strong on PoE.

Actually it's the opposite. This game is built for the casual gamer. Hours 0-500 were the funnest and most rewarding I've had playing. Hours 501-3000 have been a baby crawl up a mountain with no arms and legs. End game is for people who RMT or for casuals who reach it and reroll to avoid it, and that's why this game went from re-surging to dead again in 2 months. After 2 months everyone remembered what 12 hour days of grinding got you.

The game's content is not complete, leveling should become easier as they release more acts and higher level zones imo, loot should remain rare and perfect items very hard to get thats the point of a loot hunting game.

Desync. I open PoE all excited, then quit 30 minutes later after dying to desync a couple of times - usually, cursing that I had better stability on a 56k when playing d2.

1) Boring, repetitive, unrewarding end game. Granted, it was fun at first when you start maps for the very first time, but that wears off real quick. I'd like to see more incentive to level past 80.

2) I love hardcore leagues, but the desync kills the experience for me. It feels more like luck than skill. And to just say to run lower level content hundreds of times just to be safe, see item #1.

Those are the top two reasons for me not playing right now.

And most frustrating thing:
The devs don't give a fuck about players right now.
No one answered here and Chris is hiding on reddit, rather to answer questions on his own site.
