You can't be serious. Is he the annoying thing that begged for rainbowstrides and after being pleased complained how dump trash the player base is for not giving it to him faster? This can't be true. Can't be.

Im summation, Arpg thinks it is OK to beg (for standard currency in onslaught) and says people were mean to him for doing so. John Keys agrees with him, because the game is all luck. You didn't earn your 8 stars through hard work, you just got lucky. Everyone else thinks it shows a lack of class and that is embarrassing to watch an able bodied player give up their dignity begging for fusings. That's pretty much it.

I agree with something Onslaught players are insane : I got 7-8 whispers of guys that did not want to sell thier garbade ( LOW ILVL ) leveling unique ( wanderslust, karui ward..etc) for less than 1-2-3 chaos :O

sometimes you don't even find a seller..

Anarchy league was the best.. THE BEST. ( i will miss it )

AS for what has been said after : well LOL.

My opinion : a few things are okay and a few are pretty lame.


"Ok" :
- To not ask for things
- To beg for things, but do not show it only to the guy you are begging.
- To beg for something because YOU REALLY REALLY can't get it by another way that begging.


"Not okay":
- To beg for something and come show it in public.

Finnaly : What do you want ? I just gave a friend some free items/gems/currencies to help him level some chars on Onslaught. I am in the mood.

He needs to adjust his attitude towards self sufficiency. He needs to stop complaining about how everyone else is a bad person for not giving him a handout. He needs to stop acting like other people' possessions are rightfully his. here's a better summation of my posts:

it is OK to beg, and it's also OK to simply ignore a person who's begging.
it's NOT OK to act like an asshole towards that person, or any other person for that matter, no matter the reason.
begging is also not a "crime". certainly not compared to scamming people, or to stealth-PKing new players at the Bandit Quests on Hardcore.

that @lethal_papercut and @reboticon, is my position regarding this matter: you can choose to help others or not to, but be civil about it and don't ruin the game for others just because you feel like doing so.
