I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

Bought Diablo 3...Its just not the experiance i wanted...I mean i like the core gameplay,but no leveling of abilities?? I wanted a more oldschool action RPG,so i came here :D

I tried Diablo3 out as well, and I had a nice time until I got a couple of characters to inferno. It quickly became a bore fest shortly after. I was unaware of this game during the open weekend, so I am still waiting to give it a try. I hope it doesn't disappoint!

I also moved away from D3 to find this game finally. Why? Because...ye...because...just because of D3. Everyone knows what's going on with this game and especially what went so wrong with it.

Is PoE a redeemer or the real Diablo? I think these are the wrong questions. I want to know how fun this is. Maybe it's a fantastic H&S and that's everything I hope for. And a German translation would be nice. :)

And D3...honestly...RIP.

Heard about PoE on the D3 forums. D3 is good for what it is (Isometric WoW). I certainly enjoyed my time leveling my Monk to 60. However, until things change, I'll only be logging on occasionally to check the status of the game. Mostly out of curiosity.

PoE grabbed me right away on a gut level. Something that hasn't happened with a game in a long time. Also, The developers seem to really care about the game they're making, and the community that supports it. I plan on making this my home for awhile :)

When I saw my arrows being stuck into Hillock at the start I think that plus the awesome lightning flashes and shadows that made me go, "yep this is effing cool"

D3 is just super dumbed down for little kids and WoW players and inferno mode is a terrible end game design

They are too arrogant to admit the core of the game is broken so it will never become as good as it should have been

I just love the freedom in PoE and the fact its not made for 12 year olds, well done you Kiwis!

Came here from Diablo 3 also. Havent tried this out yet but from the looks of it it seems much better.

I've been playing PoE for a LONG time, then D3 came out and I was super excited to have both. D3 sickens me as to how the core of the game is the AH, the drops are just awful. I finally realized that they'll never make the droprate in the game anything near what it should be because it'll harm their profits.

Blizzard is not the same company it once was, greed is now more important than making decent games.

I'll come back to PoE once open beta starts, and once better looting options get added (one awesome feature about D3 was the looting system) I'll make a donation comparable to what I paid for D3 :)

I'd rather GIVE my cash away to someone that makes a decent game than have to pay for a game thats designed to make me pay more to finish it.

Played D3 for two weeks until I found this game. Fell in love and never looked back haha

Was quite disappointed with diablo 3. When my friend mentioned this and i saw the passive skill tree, my heart skipped a beat. I'd found what i was hoping for in diablo :P
