I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

I"m here from Diablo 3 as well.

I had a great time with it until Inferno. Don't remember if I heard about PoE on the D3 boards or over at RPG Watch, but I'm glad to be here playing this fantastic game.

Happy to support the development of this and I can see myself playing it for a long time.

I hope it's a smash hit when it launches.

Yep got tired of playing DiablAH sim, glad to be here!! Wonderful game glad I forked over the $10 bucks!

I never played Diablo 3 but it's really what brought me here. I played Diablo 1 & 2 a ton. I always intended to get 3, I just wanted to wait a bit so I didn't have to pay 60 bucks for it.

When I was finally thinking about buying it a few days ago, I came upon the Amazon reviews and the Metacritic player reviews. I was shocked. I'd never bothered to read reviews for it--I had no idea it was bad. I was sad for a bit but then I googled "good Diablo 2 clones" and this came up (note: I don't really think Diablo clone is a fair term--if you make a good game that's a bit like Diablo, then good for you--but it's good for searching.)

Ok...so I will try.
First,pardon my bad grammar cuz I´m german and it´s not the language I write in most of the time...
yeah...I came over from D3....thats a fact.
After playing about 300+ hours and reaching Inferno I just ask myself why I should try it out a few more times only to be...
...killed by Champs with astonishing affixes after only 3 min of play,only because of the fact that they are there at the worst of moments with the worst of affixes so that they bring my char faster back to the repair option than he was attended to be living
...forced to think about buying my way out till the end of this game.
I´m not sure about what awaits me here but in my momentarily opinion it could only get better from now on.

And waiting for open beta...:)

I have been very busy playing PoE that I have not found my way to these fora. Like so many here, I too am a D3 refugee. PoE is a truly wonderful game and just reading some of the threads here shows a mature, welcoming community of real gamers. Thanks to GGG for a fantastic experience!

Enjoy it while it lasts. Once we get to Open Beta the game will fill with inmature players like any other game. We will all remember with fondness how it was before. This will then increase 5x when PvP is introduced because people are going to not only complain about balance in PvE but also in PvP.

I am just old enough to know better then to think so positive :D
