This thread is 110% for every gripe, whine, rage, hatred and yes, maybe even love, people feel for Diablo 3, as long as it can be related to them coming to PoE somehow.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

Non except 1 of my friends play D3 regularly anymore, I'm glad I discovered POE, now waiting for my beta key :)

D3 players can sell their items and get 10$ to get into the beta.

Came over from Diablo 3, seen a few post about this game in the forums and decided to check it out. Diablo 3 is a fun game but gets boring fast and the character diversity is non existent. For a game which was stated to be about build diversity, under its skin there are only a couple of viable builds when hitting Inferno.
So far from the videos and screen shots I've seen, the game looks really promising. Ill reserve judgment till after playing but I can't wait to try it out! |

The D3 development team has been the best PR move for indi games. I was sick of the Tuesday server maintenance for my single player game so I decided to shop around for an alternative. Found the PoE website and tried it out. Now I've bought beta keys for my friends and trying to get more people to support the game.
Since uninstalled that other game and play this one full time. Thanks GGG for making a great game. Keep up the good work and take lessons from that other company. In the past, they provided a template on how to create a lasting legacy based on a few games, now they were kind enough to show people how to flush it down the toilet with just one. |
