I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

Came from Warcraft and D3, Still play of course.

But ya "Guilty as charged"!
I did as well. Havent quite quit D3 yet..but I'm seriously considering it. Just looking for an alternative.

I'll give it til the weekend, if i don't have a key, I'll do the $25 thing most likely. Hell..its better than putting it in to Bnet cash.

I was hardcore in the D3 camp and playd 70 hours n the first week of it being released. After getting through part of inferno and seeing how broken the game was and still is, I went from playing, checking the AH, and forums everyday till that desire started dwindling. I saw a video for this game but wanted D3 to work so bad, my hopes were wrapped up in the game. I soon went from playing hours upon hours farming, to checking just the AH for a few minutes everyday, then to just forums, then to just looking for new blue posts. With the silence and the lack of respect from the BLizzard Devs to their players along with their unwillingness to admit they were wrong about many aspects and lack of comunication towards their player base, I soon started looking into PoE brought on by a youtube video of the gameplay. I then read the Dev diary and watched the "build of the week" and was convinced!

This was the game I was hoping D3 would be. The Dev team is AWESOME at presenting their "wishlist" to the community and things they would like to do. I love how they announce changes and have a "plan" for upcoming patches. I love how they are actually beta testing the entire game before release. I wouldnt even mind paying for this game upon release. I like the graphics alot but they are not the best I have seen (dang good for a free game though!) I really like how they threw the "4th difficulty" aspect out the window and came up with Maps, I love that there is no gold, its not pay to win, PVP is a big focus, legendaries are... legendary and the gameplay rewards exploration and is very fun and unique! Combat "clean-ness" is getting cleaned up which is AWESEOMe.

All in all, I would HIGHLY encourage everyone to even just pay $10 to play this game closed beta, not to get it early, but to support the company. I did, and have NOT regretted it since. I have thought aboutbuying keys for friends just to support the game more, but the friends that would play, are just so disappointed with how D3 turned out, they dont want to "start over again" when the OB wipes all characters.

If you are on the fence.... BUY THIS GAME! You will NOT regret it!

The Dev Diary was a big winner for me also. While I don't agree with every single aspect - for example, I'm all against any sort of FFA looting - the fact that the Devs are so communicative, and appear to be against smashing the fun out of the game in the pursuit of some sort of elusive perfect balance, got me to sign up fairly quickly after reading it.
I am here from D3. I am very impressed with the work that has been put into this game. While I haven't purchased a closed beta key, I am definitely thinking about it.

This is all I have to say about buying a beta key...

I actually became PoE beta member before I gets a chance to play D3. Played the stress test weekend right before D3 official launch, and then bought a key before buying D3 because I thought I would spent too much time in D3 during my finals.

It turns out D3 only kept me playing until I get to inferno, and farmed a boss or two with my friends. Meanwhile, PoE, while only $25 spent, kept me playing for more than double the time; and I used to thought D3 would be the only game I will play when it's out.

I later decided to up'd to silver and has not regret my decision.

I will wait and see what D3 will become; but meanwhile I am going to support GGG instead of Blizzard.

The youtube "build of the week" is what also hooked me too. I love the developers attitude, whereas blizzard's attitude is to NERF NERF NERF, these guys at GGG are into making their game more fun for the players. Great attitude, I love it!
still on D3.... but only the AH... it paid my way into the Beta for what is so far an outstanding true sequel to Diablo 2. =)
I came here from D3 like the rest of you guys. I still play D3, but it is kinda getting painful playing it.

What is keeping me playing D3 is because all my classes are in Inferno at the moment.

Once I beat inferno mode with all 5 of my classes, I am done with the game for good.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.
