Why did you choose to support?

The videos I've viewed looked great. Independent developers trying to make games that gamers want (not just catering to the mainstream to make a big profit) deserve both credit and financial help in going about their projects.

Yeah and I really wanted a Beta key too, that's definitely a distant third on my reasons list though.
I bought an extra Bronze Supporter package, yesterday. I had used a lotta my Silver pack's Cash-Shop points (lovin' the extra stash tabs, don'tcha know), and realized that I would be needing more credits, when the rest of the goodies became available. Figgered I might as well buy some more now, while the extra Beta keys would be useful (sorry, folks; already gave 'em all out). =^[.]^=

This game looked so promising... and it is!
It's the first time i support a game b4 its release, and i'm proud of it. It's just the kind of game i was looking 4, so TY!
Good luck developers, greetings from Italy!

PS: i'd like to get a friend of mine into PoE too, so if anytime anyone feels like gifting me another beta key... it would be appreciated ;)
Fat Moe: What have you been doing all these years?
Noodles: Been going to bed early...
(i guess he didn't have a beta key...)

Well, I decided to support this game because it had more potential to become something great than any other MMO I've seen before. I bought the Kiwi pack. I would of bought a larger pack if I had more money though, but money's tight nowadays.
There are many reasons why I chose to support this game. The first among them is that upon seeing this game I stopped thinking about D3 at all. That was nearly two years ago. Since then I have logged thousands (probably 3k) of hours testing POE in both Alpha and Beta and thoroughly enjoyed and enjoy it to this day.

Another reason is the amount of involvement the devs have with the community. This is unprecedented to me being the first indie game I have followed, it gives the player a feeling of helping shape the game to not only the devs vision but to a greater communities vision. In an essence the devs are our tools for creating a great gaming experience.

Finally I donated to create a unique item and for the sexy kiwi.
RIP Bolto

Let me just add that I am a total newbie compared to you and the other Alphas, so to see an Alpha support at this level really reassures me that I haven't 'invested' (to use the word very loosely) in something with limited staying power or potential. More than most of us, you've seen this game grow and develop, evolve and improve.

And the bold bit? Yeah. +1. +2, even.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.
Why not, maybe it will help make a better game. I have yet to play (downloading) but it looks to be a lot of fun.
Wow, Bronze and you haven't even played yet. That's big of you, that is.

Is there something wrong with that, Jay?

Not at all. 'Big of you' is a compliment, means it was a good thing to do. Generous, even.

PS Rather not be called that. Name owned by a Wilson of whom I am none-too-fond.
