Why did you choose to support?
Just like many others I registered purely due to curiousness but suddenly fell into love with it after the day an unexpected email told me I had been picked up for test.
Unlike those big companies whose programmers and designers works for salary and profits, I believe GGG is pushed by something more high. They have the pride, ambition and most of all the love for games and deserve respect. So I chose to support them by paying, and the extra key also helped me to advertise the games quality. |

I first saw this game in July 2012. At that time I was tired of Diablo 3 with 400 hours on the clock, and this game looked really good.
I wanted to play it, and a beta key was really cheap too, so I bought the 15$ Supporter Pack. Later on I upgraded it for the Bronze Pack because I really enjoyed the game. My only regret is not getting the Silver Pack when I had the chance :( I'm in an abusive relationship with life. It keeps beating the hell out of me and I'm too cowardly to leave it.

I first saw POE being streamed by psystarcraft a few months ago, I remember
thinking: "holy crap, I thought blizz was supposed to make d3...." Started playing immediately due to freeness of open beta. Was starkly impressed with gameplay, noticed some drawbacks but then read forums, posted on forums, realized forums were good and community was badass. I felt impressed with the supporter class in forums. Later I noticed the dev's were all over the forums and all over the game, doing regular updates and showing sick respect. I vowed to spend some cash on this game. within a few weeks I got a prepaid and bought premium stash tabs. GG GGG. |

I did it cause I'd been looking for this game for years. Closed beta was fantastic.
Imagine my disappointment when OB came and GGG refused to provide the needed servers for the game. Never would have guessed in the end that GGG would stand for Gesync Gesync Gesync. |

After the absolute travisty that is D3, I felt that giving GGG some cash for the great game they are creating is only fair. People need to support the good games that are put out and cut their support to crap being put out by big companies coasting on their reputations.
The fact that you get something other then the game for your money is just how awsome GGG is. It's not pay to win, but you don't have to shell out for the game, only to find out it's horrible (fuck you Blizzard). "On a mountain of skulls, in the castle of pain, I sat on a throne of blood! I wanted to support during closed beta but..I just couldnt do it...I was jobless at the time and couldnt see spending money on something I might not like...and it was even worse because of the D3 let down....i was so butt hurt that all ARPGS were going down the tubes.
So after it went OB i was like..helllllllll yeah i want more stash tabs! "Beta"

I chose to support because I enjoy the game, and the way it has been done so far. I do think that the game needs some tweaks, but those are coming incrementally, and I'm willing to be patient in that regard.
I also like how passionate the developers are about the game, and how responsive they are to community feedback. This gives the game as a whole a feeling of community and continuity that is very hard to find these days. When I initially began playing the game, I thought it was so awesome that I wondered why the hell it was free. Then, I learned how lucrative buying more stash space can be, and had to stop myself from supporting even more. Oh, and the forums. I highly respect any company that is brave enough to allow their forum users open and free speech. This helps keep the forums real, instead of deteriorating into a child-filled, fan boy cesspool, like other official forums have become. Last edited by Azidonis#5705 on Apr 29, 2013, 12:30:02 PM

I was farming(and getting bored of) diablo 3 hc inferno, which was basically just endlessly repeated runs for drops I couldn't use to sell for gold I never spent in the Gold AH.
Basically Diablo 3 was fun while it was novel but got a bit boring and draining after awhile. I was looking for a new Dungeon Crawler (thankfully someone else bought Diablo 3 for me so I didn't lose any money). Around this time Krip was making videos of Path of Exile, which looked cool as hell. Unfortunately I had no key and Open Beta was a couple months away. Being impatient I bought a Kiwi Pack, which I think was an excellent decision. The game has been really enjoyable and given me countless hours. As a bonus I got a cute as hell Kiwi pet to follow me around. GGG is a great company and I'm glad to support them, I bought another $20 pack as well. Path of Exile has been a great game and I love it. It's more challening, interesting and diverse with a better end game and it's more fun to farm in. I'm looking forward to (hopefully) playing Path of Exile in my free time for years to come. |

I "didnt" support the game during CB because i thought i would have the "beta tester" forum title and the people who didnt play on CB wouldnt have that. But anyways, bought 2 10$ beta keys during the CB to give another to friend of mine. Which basicly means i am more then a normal supporter \o/
