Why did you choose to support?

I love the genre, can't wait for d3. Never played torchlight but will give it a try. A post on the d3 forums led me to this site during the first open weekend. I was not that impressed but admittingly only played about 15 min. Gave it a more serious try this past weekend and man was i impressed. The atmosphere is awesome. Even with d3 coming out in a few days i will continue playing this game. I put my money where my mouth is.

I supported because I really love this game. Now that patch 9.9 is out, I love this game even more. I'm so glad to have found Path of Exile a few month ago.

At the end of Eye of the North, NCSoft opened a cash shop that allowed anyone to dump money to buy all the skills and elite skills of each class. But, again, another topic for another time.

I did it for the kiwi, cause im a kiwi. And its the first time i've ever seen a pet kiwi in a game.

tbh the beta key was a bonus, I already got everything out of the first open beta weekend that I needed to know I wanted to play the game at release, other than checking updates I probably wont play again till open beta.

It did occur to me i could have bought torchlight II instead of the kiwi, but eh i'll get to that one some other time.

My progress is:

I only did it for the beta key. It's pretty good for an f2p game. If it gets fleshed out quite a bit more for release I might support a little bit more.

Originally did it mainly for the beta key. Once I'd seen enough to know I like the direction this game is headed in, I upgraded to Silver. I figure if D3 is worth $60 and PoE beats it in most aspects then PoE is worth at least $100. :)

The game is like a breath of fresh air, the developers doubly so.

I have always been very curious about this game: being a lover of the genre I couldn't wait to try it out and the Open Beta Weekend gave me that chance.
I didn't know what to expect, but certainly not what I got, there are some aspects I'm not really fond of, but I had a lot of fun, trying to make my shadow survive, without betraying the concept I had in mind of an expert claw user.
I realized that, with all the issues this game has, I had a lot of fun with it and I wanted to try it more.
All in all it's really a good game, the hard work and the passion of the people involved in creating this little gem is clearly visible and I decided to give my support.
Not to mention, the kiwis are among my favorite animals.

Because I love ARPG's, there should be more of them, it's not just diablo anymore seriously, I want someone to take the existing genre and take it to the level I want, and GGG is doing this.

i joined in the first open beta and loved it so i went with bronze cause i could not afford anything higher,then next paycheck i upped to silver and thats what i am on now but i will keep on upping if i have the cash

This is a piece of art this game and all Honor to GGG for making a so polished and awsome game :D

and i have realy never been a forum guy until i came in here :D great people in this forum and i enjoy reading all of CharanJaydemyrs posts :) great guy and he puts stuff just like i would in talks about why this is a game that suits me :) i loved Diablo 1 and 2 but this game fits me more than Diablo 3

so yes i support GGG and all its players in every way i can :D
