lvl 91. portal gem isn't very useful in pvp. seething flask with... no suffix. surgeon's flask with a balefire. found your "pvb" char.

yeah, private profiles... and pvp went hand in hand. giving away your build was a good way to lose/need to make major adjustments after round 1.

one of those level 28 characters - which is clearly not built for PvP per your expertise - was server top 15 at a point, in 1v1 LLD.
a couple others were deleted.
I'm not a good PvP player. never said I was. but I enjoy some occasional PvP alongside my PvE experience.
heck I was doing some bandit fights back in Beta. organized ones, not like KZA pouncing on unsuspecting prey.
it was a fun pass-time when not killing monsters. won some, lost some, ripped a HC character or two. fun times.

-Level 28 toon majorwildstriker is not that bad geared for casual pvp. It s not super competitive considering what kind of gear you get now in LLD but it is a pvp toon nonetheless.

-As for Rob, he is pvping in HLD doing a lot of ctf and was very good in 1 vs 1 hld when it mattered.


Not sure if you guys should fight about that, LLD and HLD is so different.

nothing says pvp like a 0q 1s stormcharger, unsupported whirling blades, those flasks, etc.




edit: i never cared for lld in poe (did some in d2), but yeah. the gear tended to be rather specific and costly. this isn't it. even the gem levels/etc don't make any sense.

But hey, at least they're funny? I actually lol'd at the idea of someone completing every single other map while still struggling with HOGM. What's a Perandus Manor go for these days, 10 exalts? You can clear HOGM in a Tabula and 20c worth of resistance-covering gear.
