Hahaha, I wouldn't be surprised if my current standard lvl 28 pvper would beat 2016 hlders

Spoiler
The gear is indeed "impressive" (read: completely bonkers. How the fuck is this level 28? I could map with a bow like this).
But competitive PvPers always push their characters to the absolute maximum.

There are also quite a few players (myself included) who don't compete in PvP, but do enjoy an occasional match and have basic understanding of PvP and how things work.

And then there's the vast majority, who are PvE only.

This majority - when entering Hall Of Grandmasters "map" and being confronted by some PvP scaled characters - won't have a good time.
It doesn't matter that it's AI controlling that Gubben or Spider Queen, rather than an actual player. They still use PvP mechanics to their advantage and will wreck someone who doesn't know what PvP is, unless that someone has a generic "good against HoGM" build like a Trapper/miner, Scorching Ray etc'.
And most people won't know they should enter with such a character.

So why should it be a map?

No, and ... yeah, nop, trying to communicate with you is not something that I find fun or anything, if you cannot read/write proper English AND on top of that don't know what you are talking about, then ignoring you is the best thing I could do I guess.

P.S: now that I got my frustration from our shared forum history out of the way, what do you say we have an actual civilized discussion of opinions, rather than the usual jousting?

You have showed many times in this thread that you are apparently not capable of it, seriously.

Can't it be a non-map while keeping those properties?
Or even remain a map, but not one that's visible on the atlas?

I guess it could ... but it could just make things even more confusing imo.

The beachhead is not on atlas either.

What I would do instead is make the map a T16 as the last exiles are level 100, def shouldn't be tier 6.

That's a good point, beachhead isn't tied to any map layout though, is it ?
Regarding t16 ... well, it's tied to its base map level, so ... might be technically tricky to do, or just separate it from promenade ?
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Late to the party, and coming in bearing insults as always, Fruz.

It seems you are incapable of disagreeing with someone, without doing this this thing you always do.

I tried. You won't change.

He's made several attempts, and as you can see he's conversing with other people in a normal manner.

It's sad to say but you're actually the issue here, you just don't have a very good skill in taking in information properly.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.
That's because as I mentioned previously, me and Fruz have a bit of a history here in the forum.
Mutual insults mostly.
I wouldn't take that as some kind of baseline and jump to conclusions if I were you, Kulze.

You are welcome to read my latest on-topic post, and comment on that.

The Beachhead is technically a beach tileset, only circular like an island, so I don't see an issue with separating HOGM from promenade.

Ermagherd, this thread is still going?! I ain't got time to read the (however many) pages I've missed, just jumping in to say that Beachhead isn't on the Atlas because there are 3 different Beachhead maps. I think that the white/yellow Beachheads can/should be removed, leaving only the T15 version, which could then be attached to the REEF map (which is what it is, NOT a Beach, but... close enough).

But that's again assuming that GGG takes out the low level versions of BH that nobody runs anyway, which would have to be step 1. Because adding all 3 Beachheads to the Atlas would just be silly, and would screw up the balance of unique maps for the league challenges.

The only thing similar to the beach tileset ... is the name.

It's very different in many ways ( no trees, no water, different levels, different size ).

But having 3 levels might be the reason actually indeed.
