Except some of us have cards which haven't had drivers for 2+ years, so that is unfortunately not a solution for everyone.
Ah, so it is sound drivers problem :/ Before sys reinstalation (win7) PoE crashed only when going to Vaal Ruins, now teleport, new location, random ... BSoD. Maybe i go to old drivers from 2010 or BB to Audigy4 and welcome Realtek.
I have been getting this same BSoD. Playing on Hardcore this is really scary!
SB X-Fi Titanium here.

I updated to the latest drivers and I've selected "Gaming mode". Still, whenever another application wants to use the soundcard (like Skype notifications), I get a BSOD.

I would really like to see a different implementation of POE's sound system..

Switched to integrated audio, Audigy disabled in control panel - no BSoD in 3h.
For what it's worth - I'm getting this same issue with an Auzentech X-Fi Forte.
Hi guys, i've the same problem but only in The Dock (act3). I got bs when i see some large group of mobs. I don't have creative sound card. Code STOP: 0x0000007F. Do you have any solution for this? I've done 2 passed test with 0 errors in memtest 4.1.0. so memory is fine. I update my graphics drivers so what i'm doing wrong? I upload a minidump file so maybe someone knows more about my problme.

I go update (2.17.0009) and test to see If work fine or not

I can confirm, that this BSOD is experienced ONLY while playin PoE. No matter the driver versions (even tried latest 2_17_0009). BSOD happens almost as soon as other apps starts using x-fi (for ex.: system notification or skype msgs, music player etc), BUT sometimes it doesnt happen (9 from 10 i would say).

I`m playin this beta only from 24.1. and seems that these first days this BSOD didnt happen. I`m experiencing this mostly from 28.1. (as i cant recall 100% if it didnt happen before, but for sure if it happened it was helluva less times).

My rig:

Intel Q6600 @ 3GHz
Gigabyte P35-DS4
Corsair DDR2 4x2GB
SB X-Fi Titanium
Gigabyte HD5850
