Showcasing New War for the Atlas Gems and Items

I don't get it guys. Something gets nerfed... it's bad. You get awsome items to play with in the new league... it's bad.

So many people wanted buffs, there they are: awsome items, which you can't get anywhere else. Let them be broken, they are our new chase items...

I play POE for fun and I support GGG because it's an awsome game.
I don't care about getting a 100, I don't care about items going legacy and I'm a casual, but can still level to 90 in a few days.
But you know what, seeing the new uniques, the new mods and the new Atlas makes me want to play more then till now, bacause it looks super fun.

So I know I'll get the most fun out of this league then any other previous leagues.

Why is the base spell damage of Detonate Dead at level 20 the exact same base damage as the pre-3.1 DD gem has when the patch notes state "The base fire damage dealt by the spell part of the explosion has been significantly increased."?

The EXPLOSION is not affected by spell damage. DD is divided into two parts - spell part (deals damage around the corpse) and corpse explosion part (explodes the corpse). Spell part is affected by spell damage (and is a subject to reflect if i understand correctly), but the corpse explosion part is not.
A mechanics question regarding this new vulnerability gem

"Cursed enemies have a xx% chance to bleed when hit by attacks
Cursed enemies have a xx% chance to be maimed when hit by attacks"

Suppose I already have a 30% chance to maim my enemies when I hit.

Will these two bonuses add together into a single check resuling in 60% maim chance?
Or, will my maim chance and the monster's maim chance be two separate checks, resulting in a 51% chance?

Good job keeping Detonate Dead's base damage exactly the same despite saying its been significantly increased.

so cremation is nerf to ground before even released? i mean max with 3 gaysir, nobody will use for sure...

So I imagine that a lot of these new "shaped" attributes will be build enabling. How far can they be min/maxed is the question...
