Things you do in PoE you think no one else does.

Picking up and ID/vendoring all blue items 3x1 or 2x2 space or less.
Picking up weapons/armors with >12% so 3 of them = 20% Quality recipes for whetstones and scraps.

Its probably quite inefficient...
Collect all white Iron Rings for the following recipes:

Shitty rare Coral Ring to rare Coral Amulet recipe.
I used to do the recipe only if I got a perfect implicit "4 Life Regenerated per Second" hoping that in the future GGG would change it across the board to something more useful and my legacy perfect implicit would result in a new perfect implicit.
I gave up a while ago.

Shitty rare Paua Ring to rare w/ perfect implicit Paua Amulet.

I used to make perfect implicit resistance rings, prismatic rings (I prophecized that it would go legacy and it did :), and onyx amulets (I prophecized that it would go legacy and it did :) and tried to sell them. Never sold one :D. I think I alched all the ones that had a decent ilvl and vendored the rest.

I never sell crappy unique rings and amulets, I'd rather use them for the Orb of Chance recipe.

Collected perfect implicit legacy (24% all ele res) Archon Kite Shield (I prophecized that it would go legacy and it did :). This time I managed to sell some :D

Pick up sets of 2 of 3S 3x1 one handers in almost all color combination for the 2nd weapon set.


Of course I do all the vendor recipes already mentioned.
The countless times I mistook my MTX pet for prey... huehehehe

PS: I think you should use the Assasination cluster to connect into the Shadow area instead of just those 2 stat nodes. Drop pain attunement and those 2 nodes and you can get 70% increased crit chance and 45% increased crit multiplier. Or if you really need the strength, drop the power charge for the moment to pick up assassinate anyway, since it's much better than a single charge.

I have a little puzzle I keep by my computer that takes me about as long as it used to take PoE to load up... about 20 seconds or so.

With 2.3, the game loads in about 2 seconds.

I still reach for the puzzle when I start the game.
Play Standard exclusively.

other stuff i do:

summoning my stone golem using cast when damage taken, simply because its so annoying to do it manually on a melee character.

actually enjoying the labyrinth on merciless (even before the 2.3.0 changes), i enchanted all unique gloves and boots in my stash, even the ones that probably nobody will ever use (helmet-enchantments are too arbitrary for that though).

putting my stashed gems (mostly quality and alchemy-costing ones) into the uniques im hoarding. takes away the overview, yes, but saved me quite a lot of space.

Most people speed through maps in standard and areas in leagues. I kill every mob and smash every breakable item. It's the OCD in me. If /remaining reports even 1, I'll spend a while tracking that last one down, lol.

I know it's inefficient for progress vs time investment, but it's how I enjoy gaming. ;-)

Hmm, unusual, you say...

- I'm aggressively converting most of my crap unique drops into chance orbs
- using golems only on chars that have an amount of summoner spec
- never using immortal call, ever
- also, staying away from utility flasks with the exception of quicksilvers, less out of any kind of principle but more out of habit
- which allows me to always have a mana flask in last slot even when I don't need it anymore, it's sort of a good luck charm
- over 90% of my builds are melee/close range
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
