No, he says he hears people say many people hate it. That doesn't mean what he hears is the truth. it's the same thing as all the threads here that start off with "We want" when it's really "I want and because everybody thinks like me everybody else must want it too".

Fact, when you gate things like points or anything that can improve your character, people are going to do it. Its not a hate/love thing at all.

Its their way of blowing bs up their own ass in thinking people want to run it without thinking why people are running it.
Enchants worse RNG ever

The lab is not hard it is just really boring. It is not my kind of fun and I understand others thinks the lab is the best thing that ever happened to this game.

The only way for the "Small Vocal Minority" to be heard seems to be if you make a big enough cry on Reddit.... GGG may hear you. Sad.

Reddit is a complete circle jerk hardcore.
On the topic, either we "the vocal minortiy" are so small we are irrelevant or we count and changes or a financial flop is coming.
Reality cant be denied, on of the two is coming our way.
As far as i saw, no major streamer is dominating the lab ladders. Maybe in the times i stopped playing.
I would go as far to say that most streamers dont do the lab at all aside for the point generation.

And even if they did, i wouldnt care. To me its a chore, boring endeavor that stops me from playing my favorite game. Kill monsters, get loot. Simple formula that hides complexity so well.

Open doors, chase levers, get lost in a maze of traps, push pillars, die to random lag. Boring (Well, not boring if you are playing an adventure game, or prince of persia)

Why should I ? I mean If I do that I mind as well not play at all. I like to play a game. I will not nor will I ever pay or have someone play it for me nor play as someones shadow.

Lab's fine. My brother runs it all the time, mostly for enchants but also that end lab loot. I run it when I know I can shit on Izaro really fast, and I take people through it that it may be too hard for.

It really is the minority, though, who whine about it extensively.

I ran the Lab a ridiculous amount of times to try (and eventually give up) and get the challenge for enchants.

Do I hate the lab? No

Do I think the enchant system is ridiculously stupid? Yes.

Agreed, I must've run the lab hundreds of times and still haven't gotten all the enchants yet (no achievement for me) nor have I gotten the enchant that I want for one of my characters.

I just don't understand how people can think lab is boring when they run the same maps 100s of times. It really is a vocal minority complaining about it , since you see the same people complaining with walls of text over and over as well.

how can Chris say its a minority that dont like it... have he asked all the players how they feel about it? Nope

He only looked at the numbers and saw that people have been running lab a lot

but that "a lot" is majorly due to

1) Lab is mandatory for Ascendancy class points

and

2) Lab is mandatory for Achievements

otherwise people would not be running lab much

Yeah, how can Chris deny that 700 people ranked the labyrinth 1-4 on a scale of 10 is not a minority that is vocal? At best your poll shows that a minority (27%) of a minority (poll voters) of a minority (forum users) hate the labyrinth.

There are over 100 people in the guild I am in. None of them like the crazy rng gated enchant hunting desyncing lab.

I am no mathematician but is it really likely that the 100 randomly invited members that all hate the lab are indicative that its just a very small minority.
