General Discussion - Why were you attracted to Path of Exile? - Forum

^ It's on the main page. Just click on "news" or the Path of Exile logo up top. Anyway, what drew me was the dark/gothic the game holds. Boredom mostly. I'm always around looking for a good pvp system that i can actually give me a meaning to play and enjoy a game. Sadly 99% of the games around are just grinding/farming games with crappy or no pvp at all. So i keep trying new games. @Quiett: The times is on the home page of this site. For me, I hadnt heard about PoE until IGN's latest article. The enthusiasm of the writer got my interests peaked and then I was hooked from the first video. It looks and sounds like what so many fans of the genere have been yearning for. It's been to long since i got my random loot fix... TO LONG! I enjoy this kind of game, so this looks very interesting. While Torchlight is very fun, I wanted a game with a more dark graphic style. So when I saw a post on a website about this game, I checked it out and so far it looks good. Will be most interesting to try it later.
