Why were you attracted to Path of Exile?

it was Blood!! :D a lot of
Hallo,

sry for my bad english.

I think this game looks like D3 has to look.

I`m very excited.

I was attracted by diablofans. When I saw the very clean combat I instantly liked it (unlike diablo 3 with rainbows everywhere with each ability).

Also the atmosphere is exactly what I was expecting like Diablo 1 and 2, unlike Diablo 3 where it is somehow cartoonish.
I was attracted by ALL THE THINGS!
It's a genre that I've loved for years. Games in it have been rather stagnant as of late.

The skill system and passive tree provide for absolutely insane option custmoizing.

The leagues, provide a multitude of ways to play the game on top of that.

It's a good ole fashioned dungeon crawler that I've been looking for.
Seems to be a big world, classes, skills, random drops and skill gems are interesting as well.
I love hack and slash games, i finished dungeon siege games, i bought deluxe edition with dlc and everything, and im looking forward to this game because it looks good as dungeon siege 2.

Because it looks closer to what you'd expect D3 to look like. In a way I think that's kind of the point; Blizzard want to attract a wider audience with their new art style, but most of us that enjoyed the first two games wanted something more grimdark.

It's also the reason I'm interested in Grim Dawn.
exaclly cannot say it better
Some of the reason are,
It's like Diablo II which I've been addicted to since
release.

It's free to play, and thats all i can afford at the
moment.

Looks like it is going to be a lot less prone to bots
and spam than d2.

Im looking forward to play beta, having some input into
how a game evolves even if just a little influence.

Just like I lose interest in D2 when they annouce a
ladder reset until the reset takes place, now that d3
has been annouced I feel like meh about d2.

Some things that attract me:
-Art style
-Innovative currency system
-Innovative skill system
-The amount of freedom in the passive skill tree
-Developers listen to community and are passionate about the genre
-Leagues
And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you.
