So GGG doesn't give a hoot about botters & cheaters

Would it really take that much more loading time? I mean, you can actually enter a new area and it can have a Master, a corrupted area and multiple strongboxes, maybee even one or more exiles. People would have the problems you are describing even now sometimes. In doubt, they can raise the grace period. If you have such an old machine, the game is not enjoyable anyway. Have fun fighting Dominus oder mapping in a party if your computer cannot handle some addititional objects loaded in the cache. And yes, I had to play this game on an old machine for some weeks. I know of what I'm talking.

I hope, GGG will find a solution to this.

GGG doesn't ban RMTers or botters even if you can proof it. fullstop. That's what I have experienced in multiple reported cases in the past. fucking fullstop again.

I don't get how the OP defends d2jsp. The effect of RMT in a challenge league or permanent league is worse than people using hacks like the one(s) described. And d2jsp is RMT. Buying or selling things for anything other than in-game items/services is RMT.

Alright, there seems to be some mass arguing about who should do what, and GGG have or have not done something else..

The following is the conclusion that I have come to reading the 8 or so pages so far.

Chris stated he doesnt want hacks in the game, in the thread for 'Offline mode', he says it wont happen.

But now come here, there are hacks in the game.

Chris doesnt know how the hacks exist if the data isnt there, then has a foot in mouth moment when its pointed out the data is there when the level loads......, "I'm a developer Jim, Not a Programmer !!".

Okay so remove the data at load time, and you induce Lag moments while the next lot of data is fetched, all the while the game suffers from Lag anyway, Yay more lag guys.

GGG cant ban the 3/4 of its user base that hacks, because they are living off of the MTX (And yes I have some myself). MTX that is.

How detrimental would it be to using a program like Thermida (Oreans), Hackers cannot get the memory offsets if the game is running in its own encrypted memory container (VM), and Thermida doesnt allow a program to run if Debugger API's are running. Add to that any traffic to server is ENCRYPTED.., thats about as secure you can get. Now I dont have any experience with Thermida, only that its only a couple of hundred Euros, and its yet to be cracked. (Heck, Some hackers use Thermida/Winlicense to protect their hacks from detection).

So, GGG, throw out a few more MicroMTX, and investigate something like Thermida. And please fix some of the existing LAG ?

Let the server send out HUGE amounts of bogus info on loading screen, that any hack/cheat program can't figure out what to tell the player.

Anywhore; hacks, scams, cheats, idiotic behavior and so on - if GGG don't figure out a way to deal with it, then it's suddenly "ok", and the problem will grow.
