Wow dude. That's quite a cynical approach to the RMT problem. GGG's design decisions have most certainly affected RMT. You can also see this in Diablo 3 that radically changed their game design and now RMT has dropped to near nothing. I also think you should stop with the antagonistic posts. They are against the forum guidelines.

Of course, D3 has no RMT now because it has no T. Having T while avoiding RMT is a challenge.

turn off the caps lock, stop the crazy rambling, and listen to reason man.

this is not about me.
you may see me as attention-seeking, and hell I have thousands of posts in my profile for you to prove that.
but I care about this game, and still find ways to enjoy it.
the fact I haven't left yet - despite countless time spent and countless posts you view as QQ - pretty much speaks for itself.

Trollolol.

Also, yes. Inflation. Economics 101. [removed by support]

Also, dear support: if you're going to be so heavy-handed, delete the entire goddamn thread please. :)

Psssh. There are plenty of games where I can drink all the tea I please without worrying about RMT getting in the way. Try something British, those usually have tea without RMT.

Blizzard locked everyone in their home alone to prevent murder and other crimes in the world.

We are paying a price for 'freedom' and in PoE it's called RMT.

As long as something requires time and can be acquired from somebody else, there will be 3rd party real money trades. Nothing short of going the easy way that company B. took will stop that.

I rather have 'freedom' and pay the price.

I don't think that RMT is encouranged by GGG in any way shape or form, even by their design. I do however believe that GGG unintentionaly promoted it due to the free to play model and ridiculous layering of RNG.

Uuuum you're contradicting yourself. First you say they don't encourage it and then you say they do! What is it?

I said they didn't intentionaly encourange it. There's a big difference between the two.

I recommend High Tea, assuming you can set aside your compunctions about drugging the masses.

The discussion in the thread is allowed for now. People need to cut out the personal insults though.

a lot of the heat is coming from the fact it's me who made this thread. people who have no clue who I am, how I play in-game, and in which ways I contributed to the game no less than they have - and only judge me based on very selective reading of forum posts.
yes, a lot of forum posts.

would it make a difference if this wasn't written by "johnKeys"? hell, I could make an alternate account, and post this without my usual syntax - but I'll never do that.
this is me, and yes this is "another johnKeys thread" so fuck off.

people just need to learn and accept the fact I'm still here, and still sharing my thoughts on various aspects of the game.
know that I still care about the game, no less than the loudest of "fanboys".

agree or disagree with my posts and the way I phrase them, but do not ever attack me personally.

To be truly honest, it's not what you say, it's how you say it.
Just the thread title is cynical and toxic...for people who like and enjoy the game and support GGG in good times and bad, it starts them off with a bad taste in their mouth, and they read everything that comes after that in that connotation. Just some honest advice.
