RMT Wins. Fatality!
It's called inflation in a league that's been active for over a year now. People aren't using orbs as much as they're being found and traded around, ending up in the banks of people who do more buying/selling than playing.
This thread is pointless, unconstructive, and kinda inflammatory...it should be deleted. There's also the question of, you play self-found, or so you claim, why the hell do you even care what others do? |

" playing mostly solo, and mostly self-found. doing some trade, but never "flipping" or scamming anybody. and preferring quick transactions when I do, because I have little stash space to keep stuff, and want to go back to killing monsters as soon as possible. also, buying a lot more than selling. my RNG is absolutely terrible, and contrary to people like Anuhart - I can't play 24/7 to try and brute-force the dice. hell, I'd probably go insane if I grind half as much as he did. but this isn't about me, my luck, my play-style or my "wealth" (which I consider pointless). this is about RMT, and the impact it can have on a game. how it can destroy a game you love. and this is an answer to you as well, @Psyborg. " Uuuum you're contradicting yourself. First you say they don't encourage it and then you say they do! What is it? " WTF? If this is true then that's pretty weird... On topic: without a doubt anyone with many exalted orbs in the stash a lot of those come from RMT. Even if they are not a RMT'er themselves. Many of the exalteds and eternals were also farmed by bots, but that is another topic. i use a secret account because i am a politician that doesnt want the NSA to know i play poe. " I'm sure the lack of emails has absolutely nothing to do with seeing the same players login again and again after reporting them. "just for try, for see and for know"

" Wow dude. That's quite a cynical approach to the RMT problem. GGG's design decisions have most certainly affected RMT. You can also see this in Diablo 3 that radically changed their game design and now RMT has dropped to near nothing. I also think you should stop with the antagonistic posts. They are against the forum guidelines. i use a secret account because i am a politician that doesnt want the NSA to know i play poe. Last edited by Michael_GGG#0000 on May 19, 2014, 3:21:00 AM

" turn off the caps lock, stop the crazy rambling, and listen to reason man. this is not about me. you may see me as attention-seeking, and hell I have thousands of posts in my profile for you to prove that. but I care about this game, and still find ways to enjoy it. the fact I haven't left yet - despite countless time spent and countless posts you view as QQ - pretty much speaks for itself. would you not care if a bunch of scum-bags went in and destroyed something you love? that's the way I feel about RMT. that's why I'm so mad at GGG not going in full-force and doing a painful root-canal treatment to the problem, rather than "fighting" symptoms. yes, changing design if needed - because by now it's quite clear to me, that design is a top RMT catalyst. you disagree? well ok. no problem.
