" better answer: because you as a player can't do anything about your drop rates. besides the simple fact that risk/reward is exponentially better than just buffed (yet still uncontrollably random) drop rates, players tend to get frustrated when they realize, there's no way to bypass the PoE RNG besides trade, augmented by an unhealthy dose of RMT just to make things quicker. the other option - if you play self-found - is just grind your fucking brains out, hoping and praying to brute-force RNG. and it's not like PoE masks the grind, with things like side quests or additional content. you just grind for the sake of grinding. players like me also tend to get frustrated, when getting rewarded from zero-risk. having the dice roll in my favor when I really didn't do anything to deserve it, yet. many people would read this part and go "WTF?", but I really do hope I'm not the only one with this opinion. winning the seemingly-lost battle against RMT, requires both swinging the banhammer with greater efficiency and determination, and redesigning the loot system to actually give players skill-based control. have gameplay-based ways of bypassing RNG and/or biasing it in the player's favor, if he/she proved worthy. GGG have no intention of doing neither, it seems. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat Shadow: That was fun Last edited by johnKeys#6083 on May 23, 2014, 4:42:03 PM

" i think they do not care about player frustrations to be honest, they have their lifes and they cant see through eyes of a player who spends 10h a day in their game and expect to have some fun drops including fun currency drops IGN : Sir_Big

Drop rates will ALWAYS be too low for someone. You want items to rain on you without any effort taken in gaining them.
If you THINK for a second, you'll realize that increasing drop rates works both for REGULAR PLAYERS AND RMT BOTS. Changes nothing - only numbers. And the best one: " Lol. Dem clown exalts. This game definitely needs some way of "targeted looting", that would be an alternative of obtaining wanted item X, to chinese goldfarm Dominus and then just buy item X. Or straight RMT.

" Geez, enough with this bullcrap. I've played for about 1.5k to 1.7k hours, at least half of those doing maps. I have yet to see any of those cool 'common' uniques, everybody seem to be using: BoR, Alpha's, Rainbowstrides, Aegis... Do you think about 800hrs of endgame mapping is "enough effort taken"? E: The best drop in this time was a Lioneyes Glare (actually two, but I'm not using even the one. Thanks Jesus) E2: Yes, yes, I know... Sell Lioneyes, buy Alpha's. " They do check drops on dropgenerators and check high tier players. And here is the problem. [Removed by Support] They guess items have been obtained by trading but the reality is RMT everywhere. RMT currency, RMT maps for level 100 and RMT items. Do you really believe that players can sell 66 maps for 1 chaos? After 2 weeks? Do you really believe players can sell dominus kills in cruel after 1,5 weeks? The answer is no! And if you find a better item and put it into the Tradeforum you will be lowballed with 2 chaos offers. [Removed by Support] Last edited by Brian_GGG#0000 on May 24, 2014, 8:19:44 AM

" GGG should hire you, you know much better than them what's going on in their game. So smart wow. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence. Last edited by Brian_GGG#0000 on May 24, 2014, 8:20:08 AM
