killing ubers at t6 is not farming at T6.
each class can "do" T6.
some classes can farm it...only one\two can farm it with no all BiS items.
wizard before nerfing frozen orb was one of these.
i want to know about dh players who farm T6 in yellow items, as you're so great pro gamers.
and I mean FARM.
not just skip and try to survive.
at low torments, play as you want. new builds, yellow items...have fun.
at endgame, (that is the only meaning of playing d3 as there isn't much to do (and imho endgame itself sucks too) there not so much choice.
good poe.

Sure, legendaries are fun to drop. Uniques are fun to drop here too. But I can also drop yellows, whites, and blues here that are interesting.
Uniques drops here are less fun than legendaries in D3 IMO. The good ones pretty much never drop, so I stopped feeling any excitment because I knew that whatever it is it's just another low lever crap unique.

I think the reason you enjoy D3 RoS more is pretty simple. You want to be slaying monsters. While I prefer PoE because I like to build my character. That's the simplified version of the current difference between games.
Nay, the difference is mainly in trading. I want to build my character on my own by playing the game. I don't want to do it by standing around and spamming the trade chats.
I drop Uniques and Legendaries at about the same rate. If I MF in PoE I drop them more often. "It's just another low level unique" supports my point that you prefer not to create new builds, but rather slay monsters. If you aren't interested in building new character then I can believe you prefer the legendaries in D3. Otherwise that's a difficult point to argue since RoS is just beginning to add unique attributes to it's legendary pool.
How can the difference be trading? You can play PoE with no trading whatsoever. So that's not a difference. If you are taking this point then you really mean the drop rates... That's an argument I can understand. Would you prefer PoE if the drop rates for a self found player were better? Or no?

that yellows are simply transitory to change with a BiS is the fact.
(maybe just a yellow necklace...until a mara o zephirian comes)
Please explain why this is bad.
Another lie. How surprising.
I've explained (I think in this very thread) why it's bad.
It makes it so the only thing you look forward to dropping are legendaries.
When you don't even look at the rares you pick up, then you are literally playing only for the beam of light that happens every 30 minutes to an hour, sometimes more.
That's not great loot system design.
Now, it's not the worst thing ever, but the system really should be so much better.
If you played this game properly, aka trading game, you would feel even worse. Because even if you level from 1-95, there are is a high chance that you will never get any rare or unique that is "better" than the great lv60+ gear you already obtained through trading game.
So if you play this game properly, the only thing you can look forward to is those level-ups from mapping lv75+ maps.
(Of course the real joy is not the items, but actually the good mechanical challenge, which is why I consider the 2-week Invasion & Ambush race to be the best mode ever created for this game; the difficulty is about right for most invasion bosses and the ambush boxes give decent challenge and exp :); only bad part is that it is only 2 weeks and that if you die 1 week into the league, your motivation to start over again plumets)
Edit: wrote "Nemesis" instead of "Invasion" XD, fixed it.

You are imagining things dude. No one said anything about farming T6 in yellow items.
It's like you are having an argument with yourself. Hilarious to watch though!

So let me get this straight here. People prefer the RoS method of self found play to the PoE system where you can play self found if you want, but have the option to trade?
(We can argue later about whether self-found is viable in PoE. I have 1 self found character in high maps, and another on the way)

PoE is a game designed around trading and economy. If you play "self-found" in PoE, you are playing the game wrongly.
When judging a game, it is best to judge it by how the game works if you play it the way it is meant to be played.

Let me rephrase it then: "It's just another low level unique, I already have 5 stash tabs filled with them".
I love creating new builds when finding a new legendary item, but that has nothing to do with bad low level uniques. You don't make a build around a bad low level unique.
Creating builds and slaying monsters are not mutually exclusive.
How many shavs, soul takers and kaoms have you found? I have played hundreds of hours and I have never found a great unique item. If you want them you have to trade. That is the main differnece between D3 and PoE.

The drop rates in PoE are balanced around trading while in D3 they are balanced around self found.
I would indeed prefer PoE if the drop rates for a self found player were better.

It's interesting that people still say it's built around trading and an economy. The game is indeed designed to have an economy. It is also designed to encourage you to trade. But it does not punish players for playing solo.
I have characters who traded, and characters who are self found. They can both run high maps. My main blender who traded actually took longer to get there because my build was worse than my self-found ground slammer.
I'm not playing the game wrong. It can be played either way, or both.

I've found one of those and purchased another. And yes, I agree it sucks to drop your 10th Crown of Thorns.
But... How many legendaries do you salvage in D3?

Yes, Poe does not "punish" you ("punish" is an interesting and funny word in this context) for playing self-found, but it is designed to put you at massive disadvantage if you do so.
Also, regarding "trading" and "not trading", there are people who can play the trading game better than other. If your self-found character is at lv90 stronger than your trade-using character, then either your build for the latter sucks, your trading skill suck or you were extremely lucky with the self-found character.
