you're personal attitude about facts is..personal.

that yellows are simply transitory to change with a BiS is the fact.
(maybe just a yellow necklace...until a mara o zephirian comes)
that without kridershot you can't play cold dh.
without marauder set, no zookeeper build.
no tal rasha vyr firebird? no T6 AT ALL.

and the only way to get it?
drop it yourself.
or drop it again until rolls perfectly.
party trade? it's a joke.

still you can try anything you want (same innpoe), but you can do a lot of things IRL.
just it is not so convenient..at least not at endgame.
at T6 atm only wizards and some wd can do it quite quickly,
and fire or arcane build only.

That's not my personal attitude about facts, fact is not a matter of opinion, that's why fact =/= opinion. Google for more details.

BiS legendary item comes after a lot of hours, rares serve their purpose, being rare and being nowhere near useless overall. They are just useless when you have a certain legendary item with desired stats on it. Which is fine, best legendary item should be a lot better than a best rare item, pure logic.

So... if one cannot farm T6 with his Tal Rasha, the build isn't viable? That's just following your logic, which is funny so far. Like I've said, certain BiS legendary makes you stronger, just that.

That's right, you can only drop/make it. There's no hardcore trading for it, only the casual grinding.

And also, that about only Wizards and WD's being able to do T6 quickly isn't true.

Please explain why this is bad.

You say this as it's a bad thing. I cheer when I read it.

Another lie. How surprising.

launch diablo from battle.net.
play it some hours, better if some hundreds, and come back here.
what you are describing is not d3 endgame.
maybe you just leveled to 70 wizard and closed it.

I've explained (I think in this very thread) why it's bad.
It makes it so the only thing you look forward to dropping are legendaries.
When you don't even look at the rares you pick up, then you are literally playing only for the beam of light that happens every 30 minutes to an hour, sometimes more.
That's not great loot system design.

Now, it's not the worst thing ever, but the system really should be so much better.

Alright. I disagree.
I much prefer it to the PoE way of looking at every rare and finding a useful one every 1000 or so.
I like looking forward to dropping legendaries. Then excitment comes when you are actually playing and not when standing at the vendor and ID'ing your inventory.

Sure, legendaries are fun to drop. Uniques are fun to drop here too. But I can also drop yellows, whites, and blues here that are interesting.

I think the reason you enjoy D3 RoS more is pretty simple. You want to be slaying monsters. While I prefer PoE because I like to build my character. That's the simplified version of the current difference between games.

Nope, you are still wrong. Every class except monk can do T6 efficiently (but the devs have promised monk buffs for the next patch).
Maybe you are not lying and just are very misinformed.

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.

Really? I have to say to my cold wizard, that this event, when she was killing in party ubers on T6 was only an illusion.
Anticipation slowly dissipates...

Uniques drops here are less fun than legendaries in D3 IMO. The good ones pretty much never drop, so I stopped feeling any excitment because I knew that whatever it is it's just another low lever crap unique.

Nay, the difference is mainly in trading. I want to build my character on my own by playing the game. I don't want to do it by standing around and spamming the trade chats.

Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
