Would anyone be against selling chaos orbs on GGG's shop? (For convenience)

GGG can perfectly criticize Garena and continue doing business with it. The 2 companies strive for money not nice words from each opposite CEO.

But Chris choose to put things into perspective.

"
The points I'd like to impart are:
a) We are willing to allow Garena to experiment with microtransactions that they feel are appropriate for their audience, on their servers.
b) This microtransaction isn't something that I would choose to add to our servers, but it's certainly not game-breakingly harmful.
c) We have the ability to push back on requested changes. If they wanted to add something really harmful, then we'd disagree. They haven't asked to add anything really harmful. Other companies have asked.
d) While we can't talk about the specifics, the licensing deal with Garena has and continues to help the development resources of Path of Exile substantially.

What i can see is : as long as players are againt pay2win, GGG will not implement it. But as soon as the community is willing to accept it they will implement it in small portions.

Let's meet 1 year later from now: I bet Passive reset MXT would be as real and convenient as stash tabs are now.
Thanks god i have never bought any stash tabs, yet i have supported GGG and i am proud of it.

@To every player :
It's your duty to speak up before it's too late.

What is really harmful, buying characters already at level 60 to be able to start the real game asap?

You will soon, on Garena servers first, be able to switch gem quest rewards at npcs for a small amount of GGG points. What does it do anyway? It's not game-breakingly harmful, you can trade your CoC with a GMP or MS.

As for those who put 0/10s : This is not Reddit guys :)

Now, please explain to me in which way those stash tabs allow me to aquire something ingame that i would else have to pay currency for!

You have much more space to collect items for the Chaos/Regal recipe.
You have much more space to store leveling uniques.
You have much more space to run a shop with low to mid value rares.
You have much more space to collect high value rares for other builds/characters.
You have much more space to save up low to mid value orbs for trading.

All in all, with a large number of stash tabs you're more likely to acquire wealth more quickly than without them.

Heck, you can buy yourself out of a ban for cheating. 5$ and bans are lifted. Called "Unban cards". That company is as shady as it gets.

You mean as shady as real life?

"Hey, we caught you doing something illegal and found you guilty breaking the law. You can either pay this bail, or go to prison for some time."

Yes, really shady that stuff. ;)

And by anyone's standards *But GGG's*, what Garena has done is well below the 'pay to win' line. I am sure this severity on GGG's behalf is something the Garena folks wrestle with regularly. Unlike GGG, they didn't make the game. They just want to make money off it.

Um what? By my standards it's definitely pay to win. And judging from the thread most people agree with that notion.
i use a secret account because i am a politician that doesnt want the NSA to know i play poe.
I would pay you to not make threads like this one.

Nope. Chris mentioned that the users of this forum represent about 3% of all players. So that's not "most people" right out of the [Strong]box. Now add the concept of "vocal minority," and the idea of "most people" goes completely out of the window.

Also, you know what's the first thing GGG would need to axe if they were completely against Pay2Win? Correct: stash tabs. You don't have any additional stash tabs, do you? ;)

You should read his question more carefully because you've answered what you want to hear, not what was asked!

"Damn, I don't have stash space to store those leveling uniques. Guess I have to sell them."

"Damn, I don't have any leveling uniques for this alt. Guess I need to buy them."

"Damn, I don't have stash space to store these items for the Regal recipe. Guess I have to sell them."
...
"Damn, I don't have enough Regals. Guess I need to buy them."

"Damn, I don't have stash space to store this really nice CI chest. Guess I have to sell it."
...
"Damn, I don't have a good CI chest for my wander alt. Guess I need to buy one."

And so on, and so forth. More stash space allows you to collect things you'd have needed to sell/vendor otherwise, thus regularily saving you the expense of having to (re)buy stuff. Or do you think people donate the Chaos orbs, which they save from having enough space to collect various found items instead of having to buy them, to charity?

I do not feel that selling anything that can be obtained by simply playing is "pay to win".

It's convenience and for people who have jobs and families, and who cannot play all day long, but who would still like to experience the end game. (And who do not want to use shady third party sites.)

My god, I was just waiting for someone to drop that argument:
