fevgatos, if you're going to report me for being rude to you, the lease you can do is be respectful to other posters as well. I can't imagine who else it would've been, but if it wasn't you, then it's all gravy.
I had a talk with a Support agent that asked me to chill out, and I have.
I'm respectfully asking you to respect the other people's opinions in here, and not result to name calling, capitals, and be so defensive when people have valid opinions/thoughts (and maybe not even valid outside of their own course of thought) etc. Today is a new day. Chill out.
Wut. I would never ever report someone for that. Actually, I have never reported anyone for anything. Go ask that mod, he will tell you it wasn't me

Have you played Merciless? Have you tried not to die in the least bit? This game isn't that easy, don't be so macho.

This whole paragraph is a contradiction. You're saying you're so good at looting in FFA but claims it sucks. You're not helping your FFA suck argument.
Because you must suck at something to not like it? What kind of argument is that? FFA sucks in a purely PVE game. On cutthroat that I'm gonna play, its obvious that anything besides FFA (with no fucking timers obviously) WOULD be retarded. On this carebearing default, any kind of FFA is retarded.

Maybe try playing on Hardcore and not die? That seems to be a way to increase difficulty since apparently softcore is way to easy for you machoman.
Not dying isn't hard. You can stay in the city for the whole game and never die once. It doesn't increase the difficulty. Thing is, hardcore and default are separated. Which means, I can't play with 2 of my friends who are in default. Not to mention, I AM NOT GONNA DO THE QUESTS AGAIN!

None. BUT, the game is trying to be hardcore. It fails at that, but it tries. So...it should have the douche magnet, cause obviously the people in this forum somehow equate douche with hardcore

You're stripping the developers original foundation of the game itself. They decided to make the game with FFA for a reason, because it fits with the theme.
If you've done art in any way whatsoever, you might understand. Or if you've developed a game. Personally since I do art, if someone were to tell me that I should change major things or setting in a piece because they didn't like it and it would focus away from the original intentions of said piece, you're pretty much just raking at their original creativeness and integrity.
In other words, you make them feel bad.

The developers specifically asked for our feedback.
We give feedback.
Why should they feel bad about that?
The original Post by Brian on reddit also talks about how they don't want players to be in a bubble.
Playing solo is the tiniest bubble I can think of.
FFA causes players to play solo.
Thus FFA actually goes against what the developers had in mind for the game.
We point that out.
I beat cruel, ruthless and merciless and all I got were some maps.

when i loot someone's loot i get called thief, bunch of other names etc etc.
its not a nice environment to be honest.
option is a good idea.
FFA should be at the top with best benefits so that it'll encourage people to go for it.
can't just implement option without any sort of penalties to non FFA.
i like ffa but without any benefits to it, ill just stick to non ffa , more efficient that way.
PoE fits FFA environment but hey, players are different

I just wish they changed how the loot is tracked, even playing with friends it's annoying to be on constant look out, blink and you miss to whom the loot dropped. Keeping a name associated with loot even after timer ends would help a lot. At least you wouldn't need to stop to figure out for whom that particular orb dropped.
