" That's actually a pretty awesome idea. Obviously something like this would break the endgame map system (which is why you suggested it) but it could be a really cool idea I think. Something that changes every time you use it. Maybe this time it's something great, maybe next time it's something crappy. Could be a fun mechanic. ign: weaklygdlk

The developers want it to be competitive, and guess what? They succeeded because you're in here whining your ass off about not getting loot. They did good by me. |

Assuming I'm a ranged class, party fights some mobs and I got some precious loot to grab
- am I supposed to start to run into a group of mobs in a middle of the fight in order to secure my loot having an increased risk of dying? - at the same time I'm dealing no dmg as I'm moving towards the loot, thus not helping my party at all. - at some moments I could't even see exactly what drops as I can fire arc lightnings (for example) outside of the screen range Am I supposed to believe everything is fine? |

" The developers obviously did a bad job in this regard, cause not a single second I felt any competitivness. The game is particularly easy, XP and orbs are way too high etc. I'm not whining for not getting loot. Maybe, MAYBE, read someone's post first, comment on it later. I can easily say im one of the best if not the best ninja looter in this game. I already said in the "LOOT" thread that whoever fails to pick up his loot with the given timers is a decapitated zombie. Still, fact remains, FFA sucks Most of the time I'm "whining" in here about how easy the game is, how regret orbs are so plenty its actually a free respec, how uniques drop like candy etc. That's before reading what the dev's said. Now that I did, do you think my opinion should change and say "oh good work GGG, this game is so hard and intense, GREAT"? " My bad for not clarifying. I only meant that the instanced loot wasn't a bad idea in D3. The AH, and especially the RMAH were terrible ideas. Along with several others. In a very grind heavy game the death penalty equates to...more grinding.

fevgatos, if you're going to report me for being rude to you, the lease you can do is be respectful to other posters as well. I can't imagine who else it would've been, but if it wasn't you, then it's all gravy.
I had a talk with a Support agent that asked me to chill out, and I have. I'm respectfully asking you to respect the other people's opinions in here, and not result to name calling, capitals, and be so defensive when people have valid opinions/thoughts (and maybe not even valid outside of their own course of thought) etc. Today is a new day. I'd be genuinely interested in hearing an answer to this question that has a practical effect on the game - what is the harm in allowing like minded players the ability to set individual loot as a party option?
