I'm a huge fan of the game but I haven't played it at all for the past 6 or so weeks. I usually burn myself out on the new leagues in the first two months and then I stop playing until the next leagues arrive. I guess a lot of people do the same thing and that's what the Steam numbers also represent. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence. Only 44% of all players using steam killed Brutus on normal difficulty. 17% finished Normal difficulty. 5.5% beat Cruel difficulty. Source: Global Steam Achievements.
