Is POE doing enough to counter the D3 ROS hype?

POE is not better then D3 right now.

Didnt played D3 1 year and i have left poe few months ago.

Now the both games have the chance to show who is better because both have an expansion.

If poe stay with this drops rate and shit crafting and other boring things many will go back to D3 or stick to one random game till a new arpg come out

You can't even give legit feedback on drops etc. anymore. Either all you are talking about is hearsay or you lie about not playing anymore.

Guy is baiting look it his history, D3 is fucking terrible right now take it from the guy right here with 3 level 100 paragons up in dis bitch and beta.

The MVP's don't even like the game right now why? Well for one

Nerf
nerf

Look it their forums It's just filled with negative feedback especially the MVP's the greatest defense force of blizzard doesn't like it.

I'll try it eventually.

Lock at POE

RoS has no longevity, so people might leave for a while and play it but they will most likely return once they get bored of it.

What concerns me is that someone like kripp got completely burned out on ARPGS by playing RoS beta, that could be bad.

What concerns me, about RoS, is Athene posting an interview with Blizzard guys when RoS was being announced and looking so fucking happy. Next video, after he played it, he looked quite disappointed.

I dont know, I'm certainly interested enough to see what it brings and what are the impressions after it hits the market and then will figure out if it's right for me or not. It's pretty clear that there is a market for ARPGs (look at D3 sales), and it's ripe for the taking. AH3 vanilla and trade simulators like PoE will both likely be forgotten as soon as someone figures it out and makes a great ARPG. Whenever that may be. In the meantime, we have PoE and RoS :)

I WILL get RoS and I will level a Crusader and get to endgame just for fun. As I recall there is only one difficulty now so you only play through the acts once after that it's different replayable scenarios/maps and whatnot and that seemed to be the boring part.
Nothing to see here.

Well..in the beginning people on the forums said D3 will have no longevity. Ive been playing it since release. And for me as sf-Player RoS looks promising.
We will see.
Nevertheless I will play PoE too - but I will get burned out again for sure, PoE sf playing in a ladder with no-sfers is a bit frustrating :-)
I'm never going back to that shit game. I have hundreds in my battlenet from playing AH3 made a few thousand paypal so it's essentially a free upgrade but i want no part of it. PoE is 10x the game D3 was IMO.

Took you two years to figure out you don't like PoE? You must be slow learner.

I don't need two years and niether do most.

About 90% of diablo buyers quit first month because they could not progress while I play self found no problem in hardcore in PoE.

I know diablo's basically an arcade game with crap itemization and depth compare to PoE.

Unfortunately this has been my experience too.

Loved the game at the beginning, donated 100 bucks because I really felt this was all I could ever want from an aRPG, and crashed when I finally discovered this game is even more trade-dependant than what is known as Auction House 3...

I was really burnt by this experience, I don't trust GGG anymore.

I was even more impressed by the double standard that comes with the fanbase: D3 was bad because it had an AH - PoE is meant to be played with trading and if you don't like it GTFO...

Even though I know RoS has issues it really suits me better than PoE and its developers' belief that playing self found is not fun.
I play PoE.
I play D3.

I enjoy both.
I will always play both.

I prefer PoE.
