Is POE doing enough to counter the D3 ROS hype?

If no IIQ and less items/currency than ever before doesn't make PoE an automatic winner against RoS, I don't know what will. That's point of ARPGs is not being able to drop anything, after all

If you can't afford to spend 30 or 40 bucks to try out RoS, then worrying about PoE vs D3 is the least of your problems.

PoE and RoS have different target audiences. People don't really seem to understand this.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Global hype for RoS is ridiculously low at the moment given the Diablo franchise's stature. It is probably the least anticipated Blizzard expansion pack ever. Diablo is no longer the flagship ARPG, and really the whole damn genre suffers as a result.
