You guys are kidding yourselves if you don't think RoS will hurt PoE, at least initially

I'd say 1-2 weeks max. Seriously, you need maxed boredom and stupidity resists to play D3 and it still deals chaos damage over time :3

I dont Need boredom to Play D3.
D3 was a lot of fun, especially prenerf Inferno (at least for me..)

I simply will Play both as I get burned out pretty fast when playing one single game the whole time.

Prenerf Inferno was difficult, but still boring. Just giving mobs ridiculous blanket buffs is a boring and arbitrary way to create difficulty. Melee? You have to go full tank(unless uber-geared) because the damage is unavoidable. Ranged? You have to go full DPS since you can't tank anything anyway. Gear? Utterly boring. Just stack life / resist all or attack speed / damage on everything. It was a retarded, if difficult, gear grind and the gear wasn't even interesting enough to justify it.

And yes, that was still better than the inferno nerf variant. When they nerfed it, I logged with my barb, afk facetanked everything and quit in disgust.

The game had zero complexity and variation both in terms of builds and gear.

You have to be realistic about these things.

There is ROS hype?
Why would you expect the game to be good!?

#2 is not self found, it's more like everything drops like candies and they didn't do shit about how bad the itemization is (itemization =/= drop rates), so they just give Sam very powerful items, high drop rates and ez as fuck crafting to cover it up instead of fixing this shit.

can you separate SF from drop rates in your head for a minute?
Tbh i don't quite see the problem in just implementing SF into the normal leagues. Just give all players who have beaten Normal Difficulty the chance to check "Self Found" in any league, and they can't trade anymore, ever, and all items they drop get destroyed just like in town. In turn, they have higher drop rates and drops more fitting their character. Say, you're a witch, you're a LOT more likely to drop anything that is blue/blue-red/blue-green than the other colours, excluding gems but including uniques.

Fixed.
D3 was so absolute garbage and spit to the face of intelligent gamers that I vowed myself to never buy Blizzard products ever again. They are like Michael Bay of gameworld; promises the heavens, delivers garbage. It's a shame, really, because Blizzard was once my favorite developer and anything they developed was a diamond on it's own. The downhill started with WoW-kiddies joining the team and all seniors leaving the house to form new companies. Oh well, I guess that's how it goess...
Actually GGG is lucky that D3 does not have builds and customization cause it would have eaten PoE alive.

I will play RoS but will probably buy it at a discount price during the year.

More than anything : Dark souls 2 here i come on March 11th !!!!

I do, for me SF is different from increased drop rates, and that's exactly why I say ROS doesn't make the game "self found", it makes everything drop like candies, which is not the same thing. So learn to read maybe.
