Didn't read all the responses but I'm from Canada too first of all. This is simply their regulation and there response is just a default/systematic response don't read too much into that, they could have just said no we don't do price match. I mean if they don't have a price match policy than they don't have one. Most of Canadian stores in Toronto don't have price match policy either only the biggest store like futureshop/best buy do I don't see how this is bad customer service it would be bad if they said they do price matches and than don't do it in practice. Things always get cheaper for games even if I buy a game from steam 75% off chances are it would still be cheaper next year. I buy 2 games separately and later they are sold as a bundle for cheaper I can't ask for partial refund even steam doesn't do this and there are always comments like omg things always go on sale right after I buy them.

To summarize it isn't bad business/ customer service at all it's the standard. The fact that your greatly offended by this is like where have you been all this time(no offense)? If you want to save money you got to buy smart and be patient :).

You don't have to get offensive to get your point across, you know.

@ OP
I hope you understand, that what you're doing IS actually exploiting the system. Worse yet, you're asking GGG to assist you with it. I'm surprised they haven't banned you tbh. Take that fact for what it is. Benefit of the doubt, call it what you will, but you got lucky. Best not to press your luck here, I think.

Also, welcome to the real world.

I personally bought over 100 stash tabs prior to OB, and while it sucks that I could of got them cheaper, I did get the satisfaction in using them while I was in Closed Beta. Personally, posts like this are distasteful and airing out dirty laundry on the forums is not the way to go. I'd ask you to go back and try to get money back for anything that you've bought in the past at stores when the item does go on sale, or is sold in bulk...you'd be laughed at by the store...which is exactly what I'm doing about this now.

In my country if I buy a good then the price drops the following week if I comeback at the store they will exchange or credit the difference. It is common business practice here in Canada.

If you don't think that's insane, consider this situation. You think of a product people might find useful. You figure out how to efficiently manufacture it, and sell it for a set price. One day, you get a really good price on a bulk order of one of the materials you use to make your product, and decide to sell the ones you make with the discounted material at a discount price. The following day, everyone who bought one in the past 3 months comes in and wants a refund on the difference. By your logic, you can politely say no and be told that your customer service is horrible, or you can give the refunds and go out of business after loosing 3 months profits in one day.

I can understand being annoyed that something you purchased recently is now cheaper. Anyone who has ever purchased a piece of electronics should be able to relate to that. But a purchase is a contract. You agreed to pay the price they were asking at the time, which implies you thought it was reasonable for the goods you acquired. Anything that happens on either end after that contract is complete has no effect on said contract unless something specifically listed in the contract occurs. (Repairs under warranty for example) The big companies you listed don't do that because it's good customer service, they do it to convince people to buy things at their store rather than a competitor, banking on the fact that the sales it brings in will out-weight the loss of money from allowing their customers to rip them off.
Bro, I don't think they are meaning to hurt you in any way when they refer to a policy they wrote some years before you even heard of PoE.
"Beta"
I have only had to contact customer service once, and they got back to me and resolved my issue in under 10 minutes. I was thoroughly impressed and its unfortunate you are having issues, but enjoy the game and play on :-)
LOL how pathetic your even deleting negative threads now !!! thats really mature way of dealing with it
