You need to understand that prices are bound to change. Just because you aren't happy with the change doesn't mean GGG has to refund you the points.

When I saw the post title, I dreaded what would be inside.
Accusing someone of bad customer service is a serious thing, and I don't see how this is bad customer service at all.
They nicely decline your request, and even explains why.
I really doubt that a physical store would accept your request, so I don't see why GGG should.

I sounds a bit absurd at 20$. But with bigger numbers it becomes less absurd. Are you saying that Canadians are absurd for using such a business practice?
Yes. Because that isn't *business*, that'd be failing to make money.
Again, I have no idea what planet you come from, but EVERY place that I've been this wouldn't work.
You got to use your stash tabs in Closed Beta, so essentially, you could say you got the better deal over people that are just now buying them in Open Beta. This really feels to me like senseless whine.

OP, sorry but you are an idiot.
Have you ever seen anybody going to a store, asking for some money back on an item that they purchased a few days back and just got on discount? No? Then why should GG do that?
As I have been saying alot, yes it is actually a common practice here in Canada.

Yes to be fair most companies do not offer returns on those micro transactions.
But, if they were REALLY a user friendly company they would allow players to "test" the feature for a period of 1 hour, in which they could cancel the purchase.
Now this could be applied to the premium stashes as well, so players have a feel of how they look etc, but the stash could not be used to store items at all during the trial period, this would prevent people acquiring a temporary place holder for items.
So yeah, problem would be solved if we could test those weapon glows, pets, etc before we buy.
But then again they would lose sales if those items really turn out to be unappealing.
So as it is now, every cosmetic purchase is a big gamble. :/
Well, then just dont buy anything if it appears too risky (...) to buys something (argh..)
Stupid thread btw.

I started playing this game back in December and I slowly upgraded my account to Gold Supporter because I had fate in this company. But yesterday, my mouth literally fell on the ground.
The first coins I spent during Closed Beta were for extra stash tab last week. Since I knew that prices were not gonna be very cheap, which is very understandable for a free game, I told myself to go conservative on my spendings on cosmetics.
Then, before yesterday launch I realise that they made 6 tabs stash bundles available at the cost of 5 tabs. I felt a bit sad about it because I just spend lots of coins on those during last week. I would have just waited a few more days.
So, I am being suggested to post this in the support to get help with my situation (understandable situation). So I did so and asked to turn my tabs in 6 tabs bundles politely. This is the answer I got...

Hi PureLaine,
Sorry but we don't offer refunds on microtransactions for any reason. This is company policy I'm afraid, so no exceptions can be made unfortunately. This policy was put in place because too many people were attempting to exploit microtransaction refunds to “try before they buy”.
Cheers,
I am disappointed to the highest level with this answer. I am not asking for refund at all and they refer me to the abuse and exploiting they got. But again, I can't in no way being testing the goods nor being exploiting following my situation. I actually feel insulted by this level of poor communication with customer service.
Now it is clear for me that I wont put more funds into this company, thinking actually about quitting.
You are the one out of line here. You are the one trying to pull one over on GGG with terrible business sense. You are the poor customer with a terrible attitude. It's sad that you are so blinded by your own frustration to see how wrong you are.

actually... I do this frequently... not for 2 ~ 5 $ ... but on items that go 20~30% off... I go back and ask for my money.
you have to realize here, that the OP is not complaining about 4$... that's chunk change.. he's complaining about the principle.
Canada has really strong consumer protection laws that prevent us from being gouged (well.. as much as possible) from retailers. Sometimes it's easy to forget that we are dealing with foreign companies.
Calling the OP stupid just shows the lack of understanding from where he comes from.
I noticed the same price diff last night, and I too was a little mift about it. I decided to just hold my breath in for the small amount of $ the effort would be worth to me.. but I'm glad the OP here posted and stood up for what he believes is right (in our neck of the world).
IT's a shame that our ways offend some of you to the point of calling him stupid...
example of a big retailer:
https://secure.sears.ca/content/customer-service/pricing/price-match-plus
heck... they promote 90 days if you buy with their CC... 30 for anything else.
to me that's good business..
nough said.

Throwing dirty laundry on the forums and crying poor customer service also shows a lack of understanding on how business works in the rest of the world.
