Why GGG_Neon promote the PERMA freeze mobs and bosses?
From what I'm reading you're assuming skill play means playing perfectly 100% of the time every second minute hour and day of your life meaning you should be able to have 0 life or defence?
Skill play is avoiding what you're supposed to be able to most of the time. Something easy to avoid like Dominus fist is SUPPOSED to be avoided, thus there is a warning and ample time to avoid it. Since learning the Dominus fight and trying to avoid the fist, no I don't think I've been hit by it, you're not supposed to. I mentioned that 74 Dominus hasn't hit me for more than 5k just to demonstrate a point. I don't get hit by it if I don't want to, sometimes I'm lazy or I know I'll be fine, or I feel like testing it. And yes you are supposed to gear to provide yourself a buffer for when mistakes happen. Avoiding everything when you can is the point and definition of skill. If you make a mistake well you better hope you have enough x, y or z to survive. I'm really not even sure what else to say here because the argument you're making is you can't ever rely on skill in this game 100% of the time so you either don't do the hard boss or only do it if it's frozen in place and has no way of fighting back. " Link FM with EP + CP + IAoE Use Temp Chains on target, and then spam FM + D (detonate) over and over while your friends DPS the target. At a high enough level, you basically permafreeze everything. |

" Actually desync in nature is completely random, it happens less often if you build around it, but you can still desync, I have seen streamers die to desync even though they weren't doing anything that would make a deysnc happen more often In any case, the people that are defending desync need to get a reality check, as I have stated before, its become so bad that the most successful builds are the most boring ones as people build around desync, and certain skills such as whirling blades are practically unfeasible solely due to desync Yes you can work around but, but its like buying a car that changes gears randomly, you can work around it by only driving on flat rounds, but it doesn't make it any less retarded |

" this game SHOULD have ways players can, in your view, abuse it. In a complex game, there should be complex options, and the ABILITY to maximize any potential spell for your max benefit. This seems fine to me irl, if you don't enjoy permafreeze, you aren't forced to play that way. PoE IS GREAT because they don't take the blizzard way of heavy handed nerfs just because a build is super efficient or perceived as uber op. VI |

freeze mine and elemental proliferation are there for a reason... developers know what the skills can do. using them to the best of ur ability is not an exploit.

" These vids are impressive, and it's very impressive you can kill these bosses so fast with spec throw, but to say touch of god is easily avoidable in desync situations when you are using spec throw is a bit different than saying its easy when you are melee.
