Why GGG_Neon promote the PERMA freeze mobs and bosses?

" uhh .. it's very much intended. It's what makes prolif good in the first place. Well there isn't much to discuss here. Simply making freezemine do damage would be the only significant nerf the gem might need. |

FM + Ele prof is a grossly overpowered tactic if you are able to perma end bosses with a 2 link combination and no passive investment.
with that said, i dont really care if you abuse the hell out of it. this game has seen too many nerfs for me to advocate nerfing something people are obviously very passionate about, even if its game abuse. IGN: Arlianth

" Can you defeat the boss without actually fighting it, with flicker strike, as you can do with freeze mine? Being able to avoid the boss fight altogether is definitely broken. GGG staff using this mechanic sends the wrong message (ie. "our game is cheese to win") When night falls

Imho the problem is not the gem and all these "mechanics"
it´s that bosses do such immense spikedmg even if you gear and spec against it that you cant handle em without cheesing them to death. this should be a wakeup call to the devs to fix their poor lategame bosses and maybe stop pretending that they´re fine the way they are. if people have overcapped resis and still get nuked by a boss then your game is in a pisspoorstate of balance when some fellows need to resort to permafreeze/stun. |

Isn't the freezer's role in PoE the exact same as a D2 smiterdin?
Made bosses a joke. I don't remember in D2 (one of the greatest games) when OP builds got shit on. Hammerdins doing 21k DPS. Blizzard Sorcs doing 30k DPS. Hurricane Teleport Druids Insta-Gibbing. Everyone and their mother wearing Enigma. Leveling from ~1-60 Doing ONLY chaos sanct runs. I don't see why people have a problem with a build that is DESIGNED to turn the game into a farm. That's exactly what hammerdins did to ubers when you bugged the summons. I literally sat still and held down my left click for 30 mins at a time to level above 90. That or did endless Baal runs and competed with pickit for loot. (as if) I relate everything back to D2 because MOST of the people still playing this game are here to enjoy this evolotionary direction of BUILD DIVERSITY to what was/is the greatest ARPG in the genre. If you can't wrap your head around FARMING the content in the end game, you probably came to the wrong game, or even the wrong genre maybe. |
