The obvious micro transaction cash grab?

I have to agree that I don't like the way they handled the $5 and $10 packs. I'm generally more likely to buy the higher packs anyway, but it just rubs me the wrong way.

Lol as I posted before

Ive played a f2p game where u pretty much had to spend 300 bucks to equal up to other peoples damage (not counting the 5grand of gear u needed)

Keep crying about micro trans that dont effect the outcome of the game, please keep crying, its making my day

The ridiculous 46 points for $5 and 96 points for $10, when the most likely thing (and only thing) I would buy is the 150 point Stash Tab bundle means I will likely not buy anything. Forcing me to spend $20 so that I can buy what is essentially a $15 item is not going to get me to spend money on the game.

L2math guy.

Am I wrong? Can I buy the 150 point Stash bundle without spending $20?

Because last time I checked if I spend $15 I will only have 142 points.

Most of the people who are complaining didn't even play the game. You didn't pay shit for the game and you are complaining. Go play D3 or some shit like that.

Actually, I didn't feel a need to buy a pack in the closed beta and was going to wait until I saw the new items in the shop before I made a purchase. Upon discovering that they changed the point value of the packs, I was shocked. I wanted to buy some stash tabs, likely the 6 tab bundle for $15, but then I saw that you must purchase at least $20 worth of points for the $15 dollar bundle because of the point value of the packs.

Me too!

When I buy points I'll be buying the big packs for sure - I'm only point out I think they'll make more sales by repricing. I'm no economist though, so I could be wrong.

Regardless, the Item Shop is awesome - Like it alot especially for day 1!

I'll just post this again because people seem to conveniently ignore it.

They did it to compensate for the lower profit margins on the smaller packs. Yes, GGG is trying to make a profit. BOOOOOOOO.

Sigh. Maybe they should've made this a retail release.

No one is denying that there is a reason for it (and that reason is obviously to increase their bottom line). The problem is that you can't tote yourself as delivering a f2p game with "ethical microtransactions," then engage in the unfair practice of, first, using a currency system over straight cash and, second, adding a sort of penalty for making the minimum payment for that currency.

In other words, no one would be bitching if the currency went

$5 | 50
$10 | 110
$20 | 225

or something similar. Instead, the currency goes

$5 | 46
$10 | 96
$20 | 200

despite the fact that everything in the shop costs a multiple of 5 points. It's setup to intentionally leave you with leftover funds unless you make purchases of more than $10.

I love you!!
well remember the stuff is expensive because it is not tied to your characters like in other games.

at any time free of charge you can move your cosmetic stuff to other characters where as in other games you would have to buy the same shit for every individual character.

yes alot are expensive but there seems to be a few in every category that are cheaper than the rest some even going for 1 - 5 dollars which is very cheap.

the 50 dollar flame lizard is a rippoff though , good thing the 5 dollar frogs look nice .
