Map bosses changes 1.03 and beyond are here

Try as I might I cant seem to find the plethora of feedback from the majority that asked for buffs to bosses.

Honestly as hard as I try to like this game its getting downright irritating, especially when desynch apparently isn't considered much when designing, buffing or introducing monsters/bosses, or if it is, its not done by anyone who desyncs. Blame is usually placed on the player/player-skills but from what I see its mostly the monsters that start the process.
So many scrolls, so little time...
Just stop playing if you are sick of MMO Gearchecks.
Maybe after most players stopped playing the devs might think that MMO Gearchecks aren't a good idea.

When did blind become an essential Gem on maps because without eternal grinding you can't fight bosses on equal terms anymore?

HAHAHA.. This is ridiculous really. Just run the Shock and horror boss 1st time after patch, he was already challenging enough, but now that deathray can't be avoided. It just follows you everywhere and eventually kills you.

Not even gonna try the labyrinth EK oneshotter anymore.. With those devourers it should be even more good gaming fun.

Oh well, just two more maps to the list where the bosses can keep on roaming around, since i won't be killing them.

You have no idea how ridiculous this game has become in hardcore/nemesis. I personally haven't ever found a map above 74 in my time playing but i recently joined a group of "high rollers" and did some 75-77 maps with them. I gotta say it was very fucking dissapointing. Most of the time we just skipped the bosses and just farmed the rest of the map for the xp. That's how they move up the ladder there. That being said i have given up and just do races or level alts now because the high level end game is not what i was hoping for.

In my opinion the map boss should reflect the difficulty of the map and not roflstomp everything up to the boss room where you get the "surprise buttsex" treatment. Furthermore i'd rather not do a map at all if it is that i have to skip the boss. I like boss fights. It's the highlight of each map. Sad that it's so dangerous it's not worth trying most of the time.

Yep.

That is the end game content, you run 4 same maps constantly, bosses are skipped since it's not worth to fight them.

Courtyard bosses are bugged, always triggered for the amount of players that joined the map, so it takes me around 15 minutes to kill them = skip and play next map.
Dominus in Palace is by himself ridiculous, do not fight him in HC, and do not fight him in the leveling process, Touch of God is almost impossible to dodge, desync is terrible, and the fight alone lasts 5 minutes = not worth it, play next map.

That's why I believe I won't have the nerves for 99/100 lvl, it's like playing a goddamn Dota, same map for years.

End game is really crap, deal with it.
Funny part about map bosses is that even if you kill'em somehow most of the time all you get is trash anyhow.

I dont understand why GGG is constantly trying to drive their players away from game. The more time is passing the more they look blizzard like.

After the first sentence I was like "u dont say?! thats a dumb comment".
After the second I just laughed.
today i died to shock and horror because of an INVISIBLE skill, I wasn't desynced or nothing, i just got dmg from the air, no animation whatsoever.
Out of curiosity - still not having played maps - has anyone tried Frost Wall + Cast on Damage Taken for mitigating Shock and Horror's lightning beam?
I have wandered through insanity;
I have walked the spiral out.
Heard its twisted dreamed inanity
In a whisper, in a shout.
In the babbling cacophony
The refrains are all the same:
"[permutations of humanity]
are unworthy of the name!"
Where is there stated a requirement that you kill bosses while in a map?

Where is it stated that you must do maps in order to gear/level?

All of this QQ over individual choices made by players that don't want to/can't accept the consequences of their choices/actions.

Before the ranting over "but I can't get 'good' exp anywhere else", or "but I can't get good gears outside of maps", and before someone checks my profile to point out that I don't have any map ready toons: no argument that you can attempt to make in regards to maps will invalidate the statement that YOU CHOOSE to participate in certain activities. GGG is providing various, sometimes new, consequences for these choices which all offer players a new set of choices ("How am I going to overcome this mechanic and beat this boss?")

You make the choice to roll the map, you choose to place the map in the device, you choose to enter the portal, you choose to enter the boss room and pull the boss, you choose how to approach the encounter. I fail to see GGG holding a gun to your head and forcing any of those decisions, and yet so many players want to hold the developers responsible...

In this thread: Players express frustration that GGG is not feeding player entitlement because they produce content that is hard to overcome.
