Map bosses changes 1.03 and beyond are here

im so glad i dont get exp from those level maps anymore. what a waste of effort to make overtuned bosses no one runs.

Add to Lab boss that he spawns Devourers endlessly maybe, there are no ads in the room anymore.
Although he's pretty easy with high single target dps.

You have no idea how ridiculous this game has become in hardcore/nemesis. I personally haven't ever found a map above 74 in my time playing but i recently joined a group of "high rollers" and did some 75-77 maps with them. I gotta say it was very fucking dissapointing. Most of the time we just skipped the bosses and just farmed the rest of the map for the xp. That's how they move up the ladder there. That being said i have given up and just do races or level alts now because the high level end game is not what i was hoping for.

In my opinion the map boss should reflect the difficulty of the map and not roflstomp everything up to the boss room where you get the "surprise buttsex" treatment. Furthermore i'd rather not do a map at all if it is that i have to skip the boss. I like boss fights. It's the highlight of each map. Sad that it's so dangerous it's not worth trying most of the time.

When the Blacksmith leap slams, zombies will rise from the ground around him. These zombies leave a poison cloud when they die (similar to the tar zombies). He doesn't proc any poison clouds himself.

This is basically a beam similar to a searing bond, except it does lightning damage over time and targets a single enemy, extending past the target until it hits an obstacle.

Blacksmith: take out your AOE skills or kite him. If you have melee spash or MS take them out and just hit the blacksmith. Also chaos resist would help along with blinding him

Shock and horror: i had *almost* no problem with 6k life, a nice LL and topaz flasks did the job for me but can be pretty hard anyway. Use purity of lighting if you can afford to swap some gems.

Labirinth boss: dunno, still not tried it after patch :D but doesn't corpse explode work? it prevents him from eating corpres right? so Corpse explode+fast cast = GG?

All tried in Nemesis and i'm still alive to tell these stories btw.. :)

In order to make an interesting game one does not make 99% of content a faceroll (regular mobs, magic and rare) and the other 1%, i.e. bosses, 50/50 faceroll/oneshot.

GGG should add some mechanics to bossess, not 'oneshoturdead' kinda mechanics. Vaal is a good example - he warns the player what is about to happen. The player has time to react. In 95% of bosses there's no warning nor time to react.

Agreed. A big issue at the moment with the game is that almost all of it only requires you to have a pulse to beat. You can check out mentally and steamroll everything and then abruptly you run into one or two things that can just ruin your day. Some might like the sudden spike of difficulty intercut with long stretches of nothing but I find it rather dull.
