" I have no problem with self found leagues. I have a problem that this guys asking for there to be MORE loot included. More orbs is more loot. His entire post contradicts itself. Same game in one sentence, more loot in the next. Would you also be fine with all the loot disappearing at the end of the league? I mean you can't dump an increased loot league into standard... " Agree. Just want enough to drop so whens thorns comes up on the roll, I think "bummer, there goes a week or two" as opposed to "there goes the last three months". |

"It's really hard to try any rational and reasonable argument against most of them. It is very likely that someone will quote you and counter argument about something not related to the heart of your argument. I tried, I really tried. " And again; Changes in SFL orb drop rates (plus possibly increased chance in getting 5S/6S) item should be made to make game similarly difficult/slightly more difficult as it is now, For guy that plays 'as intended', not professional trader. As I've said, game should be custom tailored to most of guys at level 80 have 1 5L item. " Are you aware of impact trading has with difficulty in this game? Do you know why Diablo had to introduce 10 difficulty levels in game? Because of easy trading system, AH. More orbs is not more loot but more crafting. Less trading IS MUCH LESS LOOT. I just cannot understand how people cannot understand such simple fact. Honestly, I cannot. "But you upgrade more often if you don't trade. Don't forget it. ;) |

" I said earlier, I play "self-found" in Nemesis and the game is exactly as difficult as it needs to be. I have, I think, 3 Orbs of Fusing remaining and my "best" item (in terms of links) is a 4-link pair of mediocre gloves. Even my armor is only a 3-link. But you don't see me crying for better drop rates. I get out and play the game, 'as intended'. " I don't think so. Yeah if your gloves are shitty, it will usually be relatively easy to find a pair that are at least slightly less shitty. But it's usually not worth fixing the sockets on the new pair to actually make them usable. You're generally better off just getting something decent that works and sticking with it, even if you find superior items, stat-wise. That applies more to leveling, though. If you're talking end-game, then yes if you simply go out and buy a GG pair once you get to 70 or so then sure, the likelihood of finding an upgrade just dropped immensely. So by not trading you're more likely to find upgrades in this instance. But you also hit the progression wall much sooner, too. Last edited by CassCE#6814 on Dec 11, 2013, 5:54:21 PM
